I understand. I also appreciate you not being condescending about it. There is a lot of animosity on FR of late. Herman Cain was my candidate and after he dropped out I didn’t like anyone else..
Indeed there has been. I understand that we will all never agree on the details, but most of us are after the same ultimate goal. I think that if people were honest about why we believe as we do, this issue, many of us would still be in disagreement, but the hate would be far less.
To be clear, I don’t think Romney is ‘evil’ per se, and definitely not in the same league that Obama inhabits. I very much think he’s incredibly wrong on his positions, regardless of how he got to them and just as problematic for America in a different way/ways. And since others have brought this up, speaking only for myself, his Mormonism is down the list of my problems with him. If he’s elected and governs based on it though, that ranking will rise significantly. That said however, his religion is part of who he is. We can no more honestly ignore it than we can Rev. Wright’s influence on Obama. IMO, we’d be crazy if we did and no different than the libs who ignore it with O.
I could see where Obama only wins a few states. He is horrible.
Yep, Obama has to go. Just a total disaster and his doj.
Vote for Romney. Obama has to go if for nothing else to get rid of his doj. They are bad for America and need to be evicted.
Absolutely Obama must be removed. They are going after shotguns right now. They have to be removed from office.
Obama is going to lose a lot of states he won last time. Romney is in very good shape.
At least Romney is paying for his elevators with HIS money, not OURS. I wonder how much the obummers have stashed away from the slush fund for their private use if barry loses in November? (I say if because anything can happen at this point) and after reading the posts on this board - it sounds like many FReepers are going to sit home and let the marxist win again. What a pity.
There are any number of reasons to vote for MR. Not the least of which is that he is a Natural Born Citizen and, therefore, constitutionally qualified to hold the office.
But the best reason is to get the Disaster out of office and inflict a massive defeat on the Far Left.
If Conservatives have as much political power as they seem to think they will vote a lot of people into Congress who are more conservative than the ones they are replacing and Mitt can be held to a high standard.
He isn’t my cup of tea but there are only two in the game at this point, like it or not. I didn’t root for the White Sox in last years World Series, either.
