Trayvon Martin Shooting – A year of drug use culminates in predictable violence (using DXM?)

Several weeks ago, as further information and discovery came to the surface the whole framing of the original media narrative began to crumble, I stumbled over a reference to “DXM” in Trayvon’s Facebook history.

It’s nagged at me since, at various times popping to the front of my mind when Trayvon’s drug use was mentioned, was quickly lost to other distractions. A couple of evenings ago it again came to the forefront of consideration. This time I decided to dig in, do a little research, and see if there might actually be something to it.

What I found was frankly, quite stunning. So much so that it literally made the hair stand up on the back of my neck.

Fascinating article - thanks for posting.

I’m professionally familiar with the effects of DM as a drug of abuse, as well as the Erowid site, which is pretty reliable for what it does.

People react to DM with a mixture of PCP-like and amphetamine-like effects, the preponderance of one or the other depending on genetically-mediated factors. Although related to opiates, hence its anti-tussive (cough suppressant) effects, it has very little - about 1/5000th - of the normal affinity for the mu opiate receptor which causes the normal psychological effects of opiates. In other words, when abused, you don’t get an opiate high, but a mixture of amphetamine-like and PCP-like effects, both short-term and long-term.

This article proposes a well thought out theory that explains a great deal that led up to the night of the homicide, as well as the events of that evening. Unfortunately, it offers no comprehensible understanding for the mental derangement seen among the media, the Libs, and the Blacks of this country. Their mental disorder is of a different variety.

In no way is it mere “conjecture” as to whether or not Trayvon was experiencing drug related effects at the time. You might look up the posts from a few days ago linking to the convenience store video from shortly before the incident.

It is purely a question of “what”, not “whether”.

Thanks for your clarification of this issue. I was totally clueless about the effects of DXM before reading this article.

It does seem to explain a lot of what has not been said by the Liars in the MSM.

That in itself is a terrible statement on the state of the news media in our country. (and the world)

The media has an agenda, facts are not important, only promoting their propaganda.

Was that what JaMarcus Russell referred to as “purple drank?”
Yep - the discussion after the article at the source mentioned Russell’s abuse of “purple drank."

I don’t remember teen males treating a drink and a small bag of candy so preciously, and nibbling and sipping so daintily.

After 47 minutes, Trayvon is running, and he is doing that with an unopened drink, or he has been sipping on that drink for a very, very long time, and won’t even finish it off to run, a little later he launches his attack while either still working on the drink for close to an hour, or he has it unopened in his pocket.

I am curious about whether the drink and skittles were for later mixing, or if he had already mixed them and that is why that can never leaves his hands, and never gets finished of, no matter what he is doing, or getting ready to do.

I believe that's a neuroses unto itself. One that celebrates and promotes all other neuroses as optimal noble states of mind. It could be categorized as Liberal Social Disorder or LSD-brain for short.

IMO, in the 7-Eleven video Trayvon repeatedly “leans” into the counter to retain his wobbly balance. This behavior, if continued out into the neighborhood (being wobbly on his feet) may have contributed to Zimmerman “profiling” (correctly) Trayvon as being “on drugs”.

Another odd thing. Trayvon had $40 on him when he died, yet he seemed hard pressed at the 7/11 to come up with enough money for the Watermelon fruit juice and skittles. Did he sell something to someone on the way back to his Daddy's gal pal's place? Also, after he paid, what did he turn around and go back for and pick up off the floor. Was somebody waiting for him outside the store?

page 20 of discovery says the can was in TM’s sweatshirt pocket and had come out when first aid was given. Also reported: One officer who lifted Martin’s shirt at the scene “felt a large, cold can in the center pocket” of the teen’s hoodie. From the picture of it on the tarp it looks weighted. Safe to say TM was not that thirsty and he was saving it for later consumption.

Thanks, this little thread has turned out to be very thought provoking.

I would like to see more follow up on this.

Worth noting: "unlike marijuana and many other drugs of abuse, DXM does not cause sedation, and in fact can produce profound agitation hence the comparison to PCP."

There was a proposal during the last DSM revision to add a category for “partisan psychosis”.

Holy Hannah, here's a new twist. The surveillance video shows that three teens wearing shades and with their faces covered entered the 7-11 a minute or so after Trayvon left. They stayed for a couple of minutes then exited.

Just as the three were leaving, it looks like Trayvon can be seen outside the store walking away. He may have looked back in their direction as he was leaving.

If Obama had a son he really WOULD look like Trayvon, now wouldn’t he?

Yep.

Yep. Parents, Commie Dem POLs, Race Pimps and MSM are ALL using this as a sideshow prelude to November Election.

And all of this is calculated to help destroy the Rule of Law and the Nation. Ultimate Traitorous Bastards.

I found this by accident looking for a related news article.

I knew that some of the over the counter medicines were being abused, but had no clue how or what they were called.

The connection in the Treyvon case is mind boggling. Surely, if someone not directly connected to the case and put this together, then the MSM and the Police should be able to.

Very interesting, Lancey. Never heard of “lean” before. Zimmerman’s defense is sure getting some intersting help from citizen investigators/bloggers. Thanks for the ping.
