Good reason to carry loaded in your vehicle at all times. In Colorado, carrying loaded handguns in your vehicle is perfectly legal without any special requirements as long as you are otherwise permitted firearm possession.
Here in Washington State, depending on the circumstances, these two females ran the risk of a justifiable shooting. (The grape drink thrower not so much).
Second degree assault is defined in Washington statutes as doing one of the following:
Intentionally assaulting someone and inflicting
substantial bodily harm.
Assault while attempting to commit a felony.
Etc.

The trouble is, it is one-split second away from some hair-pulling to the car door being opened and having your head tossed to the pavement. But two on one, I think the “one” could easily see that “there is reasonable ground to apprehend a design on the part of the person slain to commit a felony or to do some great personal injury to the slayer or to any such person...”

I don’t carry a gun, but I do keep a loaded can of...wasp spray! Have it in my vehicle and home. Sprays about 15 feet and will stop anything or anyone it hits in the face. It’s being used as an alternative to bear spray. Some say it works better than bear spray. I’ve only used it once on a dog. Don’t know if the dog lived.
Would have worked great in this McDonalds case.
I carry loaded all the time.
This summer I got a new "man purse", it is a purple bag that has "Crown Royal" embroidered on the bag.
It holds my phone, wallet and 38 snubby.
I've had at least a couple guys that were carrying {had long shirts hanging over their belt in 90 degree weather} say, "Good idea" to me about the carry bag.
I took it into Sam's Club last month and the guy at the door looked at me carrying it with a strange look but said nothing about it.
