State Senator Deb Fischer holds an 18-point lead over Democrat Bob Kerrey in the first Rasmussen Reports survey of the Nebraska U.S. Senate race since her upset win in last weeks state Republican primary.
A new telephone survey of Likely Voters in Nebraska shows Fischer with 56% support to 38% for Kerrey who is trying to reclaim the Senate seat he retired from in 2001. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate in the race, and three percent (3%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
This Nebraska survey of 500 Likely Voters was conducted May 16, 2012 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 4.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Fieldwork for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.

Deb Fischer is the TRUE Cornhusker Kickback—and the Dems aren’t liking it one bit! It certainly wasn’t what they were expecting.
I asked the question does Kerrey live in Nebraska.
Vor Lady replied: “In his sisters basement. Really.”
So is Kerrey, another failure to launch abd returned to live with his sister.
Or is that just a mail drop so he can run for the $inate?
It’s just a “Mail Drop” he REALLY “lives” in New Yawk.
Thanks for explaining while I was off line.
It’s been weeks since Kerry registered to run and I’m not sure if he’s moved into the state again or not. I live in Omaha and haven’t even seen any Bob Kerry election signs amongst the current crop.
Reality is a b3otch. LOL!
Clearly, could be idiocy (the Jackson race), trying to sell papers, or they're trying fire up dem fundraising.
