New results: with 91/1785 precincts reporting:
Bruning has 39.36% of the vote
Fischer has 34.37% of the vote
Can you confirm that the vote requires 50% +1 to avoid a run off and if no one gets it, it’s the top 2 vote getters?
It would have been nice if the results showed the results of individual races - Rep vs Dem.
Can someone PLEASE answer the earlier question: is there a RUNOFF for the top 2 if no one gets 50% + 1?
My group, Stand With Arizona is thrilled with the results thus far. We endorsed Deb Fischer because of Bruning’s disgraceful support for Eric Holder and former La Raza radical Thomas Perez at DOJ - even now after all they’ve done against Arizona, Texas and S.C. On Voter I’D, and Sheriff Joe.. We sent out emails to our 11,000 Nebraska members yesterday and hope these results hold up!
Do they have a sore loser law there?
Just heard on the local news here in Omaha that the AP has called it for Fisher. Hoooly crap what an upset! Bruning had it in the bag less than a week ago. Palin and Fortenberry (the congressman in District 1) endorsing and then the Holder letter was huuuuge. I cannot beleive it. Wow.
Bring in that teaparty $ to Nebraska. We need to send Bobby the Obamacare lover back to Greenwich Village where he belongs.
Is it just me or do the graphs from all the other races from the NSOS website look like the winning candidate is shooting the country the finger?
