Stealth Ceremony for Rush Limbaugh — and His Bust
CBS St Louis ^ | May 14, 2012

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMOX) - It’s official and it’s a done deal: Conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh is now officially inducted into the Hall of Famous Missourians. People might have wondered why he wasn’t doing his radio show today — it’s because he was in Jefferson City.

Just before 1:00 p.m. the mad scramble in the halls of the state capitol began, barriers started going up and additional Capitol police and the Highway Patrol started drifting in. The word leaked out that today was the day for Limbaugh to take his place in Missouri history.

Apparently the only people aware of what was going on were members of GOP majority and the Missouri Highway Patrol. The public was not invited to the ceremony.

Republican Missouri House Speaker Steven Tilley selected Limbaugh, a native of Cape Girardeau, for the honor — but he kept the timing of the ceremony more secret than the raid on Osama bin Laden’s hideout in Pakistan. The public apparently didn’t have a clue as to what was going on.

Since the Republicans control the Missouri legislature, they will have the El Rushbo bust on camera 24/7, not just to protect it, but if some scruffy barking moonbat attacks it, the vid will go viral with the byline “The face of liberalism”.

I mean, why not?

I agree, Mark Davis is the pits.

Now Mark Steyn is a delight to listen to!

XM radio: Andrew “We’re RIGHT, they’re WRONG, that’s the END OF THE STORY” Wilkow

I don't have XM radio. Is Andrew Wilkow any good?

“I believe that Rush is truly a significant person in the history of America. I would compare him to Sam Adams and Paul Revere of Revolutionary War days. He is an absolute original and is definitely working for the betterment of the country he loves.”

Dittos to that and I suggest these remarks do not go far enough in complementing el Rushbo. Not only does he alert us to threats and remind us of the importance of our conservative principles, but he is a self made man who inspires me to reach far further than my comfort level would naturally allow. I often need his kick in the butt and probably more than a few of my fellow countrymen are thankful for that too.

THANK YOU MR. LIMBAUGH!

libs disagree with anything good and decent. Unless it is their way it’s no good. They are SO predictable so we dismiss them in this household as totally USELESS.
If they had even one iota of the brain and intelligence Rush Limbaugh has ... they would be a helluva lot happier both inside and out. However, they choose to stay on the bandwagon to nowhere thus... they wallow in their own self made misery.

“I don’t have XM radio. Is Andrew Wilkow any good?”

You can sample his previous shows online at http://www.wilkowmajority.com/ (XM is subscription so they don’t make curent stuff available for free.)

His voice doesn’t have the tone or cadence of Rush, but he’s a hard-core conservative. He ALWAYS bumps liberals to the front of his phone queue because he LOVES ripping them up. He can take a little getting used to, but I enjoy listening to him when one of Rush’s so-so substitutes are on.

Usual disclaimer; your mileage may vary.
