I think it’s very wise to let it lay out there like the stink bomb it is, and let his statements speak for themselves. I think if Romney were to sit and harp on the issue, it might backfire on him. Everyone knows about it now and it. bodes better for whomever shuts up about it than whomever keeps talking it up. My sister and bro-in-law switched allegiance over this, very quietly, today they admitted.

The problem is Mitt did not remain quiet. Without prompting, he came right out volunteered that he supported the back door (no pun intended) gay marriage attempt — gays adopting. This is similar to his long time support for gays in the military when he tried to comfort the gays by saying it would happen “when the time is right.”

It is one thing to be quiet and let your enemy destroy themselves, but it is another to willingly join them and take the destruction on yourself.

The left believes they have won the cultural war, and that Americans will support them on the gay marriage issue, at least long enough to distract people from the fact that they aren’t working, and can’t afford the gas to look for work. The left has misjudged the consequences of this move.

if the actual numbers of young people turning ‘gay’ has dropped over the past decade, how could acceptance be increasing?

More signs of terminal moral rot in the RNC/RiNOate.

From your linked source:

Paul Singer, Dan Loeb and Cliff Asness — three hedge fund managers and major players in donor circles — each cut six-figure checks toward the landmark effort to legalize gay marriage in New York.

Singer, the intensely-private head of Elliott Associates, has been especially active in donating to groups aimed at legalizing gay marriage in different states over the last five years, concurrent with his rise as one of the Republican party’s mot prominent bundlers and donors to party committees. According to a recent New York Times story, Singer has donated $8 million to pro-gay marriage efforts since 2007.

He’s also helped raise more than $1 million for Romney’s campaign, as well as donated another $1 million to the super PAC supporting the all-but-assured Republican nominee.

The s.o.b.'s have been working on buying the GOP for 12 years now. The Loggies were wooing Dubya in 2000 and got a lot of positive response -- including the appointment of Mehlman, who was still closeted. The Bush family has been surrounded by an Oort cloud of homosexuals for years -- what the hell is up with that?

Now Grover Norquist and Ann Coulter are hanging out with them 24/7. Mary Matalin sang their praises, and single-sex "marriage" claims, back in 2000 when she was working advance for Dubya with the Loggies.

"Asness" -- perfect. The perfect, Babylonian-degenerate, pluperfect name for the entire RiNO wing of the GOP. Let's call it "the Asness Lobby". It could double as a form of address: "Hello, your Asness." "Good morning, your Asness." "Would you like a fresh Brazilian boy sent up, your Asness?"

The new, gay spirit of the Republican National Committee -- and the Romney campaign.

Why --- are you?

It's news -- the GOP is going to hell in a sodomite handbasket, and the queers in media are keeping it out of the newspapers.

Obviously. I’m sick to death about hearing of anything queer, including this. Aren’t you?

Well, no, I think we need to hear about it until a new regime returns the GOP to the people who've supported and built it up over the years, clean out the deadwood and the catamites who've been creeping around buying influence and playing backstairs games, and just purge out the party of this non-Main Street, cabalistic crew of perverts.

Next thing you know, they'll be in the schools ..... </s>

Romney will win the election if he answers every diversionary question with- “I know that may seem important but I’d like to focus on jobs.”

Is that your version of the "economic conservative" chant, "there is no politics except economics" and "we have no issues with statism except economic issues"?

If you do not engage the full spectrum of mainstream concerns, you will not receive the full measure of mainstream support. RiNO's who don't want to talk about social issues are really liberals who know how to count, period. They are not our friends.

Here's an example of a social issue that matters: the pervocrat Arne Duncan is discussed here by Star Parker, who lays it out further: The second-largest teaching union in America, the American Federation of Teachers, now has a lesbian president.

Lesbians represent a tiny, minuscule percentage of the electorate -- one or two percent, at most. So how did the AFT wind up being run by a lesbian?

FR's thread on Star Parker's column is here:

Nope. It’s my version of “It’s the Economy, Stupid!”
