Attack of the Tea Party Zombies
American Thinker ^ | 5/13/2012 | Clarice Feldman

Readers who heed what the media says would have thought the tea party bitter clingers were dead, so this week's election results must have seemed to them like the attack of the zombies.

The zombies made their appearance known in Wisconsin, Indiana, and Utah.

Less than a year ago a Washington Post blogger contended the tea party was running out of steam, that Senators Olympia Snowe, Dick Lugar and Orrin Hatch looked to easily win re-election against tepid tea party opposition.

If you’re not pretty much fully on board with the Tea Party you might be on the wrong forum.

Looked to me like the OP was “fully onboard” with the TP agenda, but not a “member”...

Same here... and what does being a “member” even mean?

If you think about it we, the voters, are systematically being encouraged to not vote, or have our own thoughts on anything that is important to us.

You brought up the example of “ - - - the same old manipulative control of the conventions - - - . “

Involved in your example are a great number of other factors that are used against us, the voters. Here is my partial list of these factors:

1.) Presentation of OPINION polls as FACTS to encourage voters not to “throw their vote away” by voting for a candidate that cannot “win;”

2.) Near absolute control of information presented to the voters by the LAM, or Liberal Agenda Media;

3.) Control by POLITICAL parties of the rules, times and lists of candidates the we voters are allowed to choose from;

4.) Protective, selective and subjective vetting of candidates by the LAM;

5.) Selection by delayed State Primary elections to insure that no more than 4 % of the eligible voters are allowed to choose the Nominee of a given political party;

6.) The pervasive arrogance of the RINO Political Party that if you don’t vote for who WE want you to vote for then you are voting for the other evil party to win.

If this is going to be the last National Election where there is still a possibility that Federal Overspending can be drastically reduced voluntarily, then let us have an OPEN Convention and realistically choose the Nominee who truly has demonstrated BY HIS/HER ACTIONS, that a 30 % cut in ALL Entitlement spending PER YEAR is essential to the financial survival of the United States of America.

BTW, why not start by instituting a 50 % cut per year to all financial support to elected Federal Politicians? Well, at least until they have reduced Federal Overspending to be below the average of the previous 2 years of Federal income.

BTW, BTW, here is a Law that the elected Lawyer/Politicians NEVER learned about in Law School:

WHEN YOUR OUTGO EXCEEDS YOUR INCOME, YOUR UPKEEP WILL BE YOUR DOWNFALL.

Thanks for your thoughtful & kind reply! My main purpose is to take opportunity to share the eternal message of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:17)

Dear Friends, The Tea Party Express had an amazing week last
week thanks to all your support and involvement and would like to thank you.
Everyday our buses traveled to a different city in this great nation rallying
conservatives.  I think you can agree that the Tea Party is answering our
critics and is just as passionate and energized as we were in 2010 and are
poised to have another banner year at the ballot box in 2012.We wanted to share
with you some of the highlights of the last week that were made possible through
your support and...
