>>All you have to say is: “Not without a warrant<<

You are absolutely right. Next thing that will take place I’m sad to say, you will be detained. A drug/weapons dog will be called in to do a sweep.

Better hope your not dealing with a crooked agent. It is not beyond the pale to have a a plant placed on or about your vehicle.

This vid is three months old or more....I was in Wash DC in February and pointed it out to 2 congressmen (Steve Austria and Steve Stivers). Neither had hear of VIPR and were pretty pissed when I showed them the video. They both said when funding time comes it should be sliced....

Sooooooo........be sure you forward this link to your Congresscritter and Senator. Call and get their Chief of Staff’s name and e-mail...they will get it in front of the big guy. Every vote will count....and you would be surprised what we know here Free Republic that they don’t....they get spoonfed what the media and their usual liberal staff weenies want them to see.

O please..they have been checking trucks for many years at truck stops. This is simple truck inspections as a nuclear bomb can easily fit in a truck.

They are not stopping random cars or citizens.

This is getting scarier and scarier.

I have recently seen signs along a highway where I live that says drug search ahead. I personally have not been on the highway when they are occurring. Has anyone else seen this type of activity where you live and under what law can they randomly stop a car and have a dog walk around it and sniff for drugs?

These clowns depend on a citizen not knowing their Constitutional Rights.

They depend on intimidation. A mom of three, with kids in the car, may well know that her car cannot be searched without a warrant or a specific suspicion. However will she run the risk of being abused, shouted at, guns waved around, kids scared, everyone prevented from leaving for a long time, and so on?

Tyrants always target weak and defenseless first. There are tons of examples. Hitler started his euthanasia projects with killing psychiatric patients - and there was a large ad campaign about how much it costs to feed them and how little is gained. Of course he then switched to other categories of people.

In the USA your local tyrant will threaten you with layoffs in your town's police and fire departments unless you cough up additional taxes. The meme "for the children" is universally used to push any evil agenda through.

In this case an unprepared traveler is caught in a carefully prepared dragnet. There are armed people all around, there are vehicles, communication, support - all that against you personally, who has none of that. You are massively overpowered; even if they let you go it's not because you told them to get lost - it's because they decided to let you go. There is a huge difference. Your rights are violated the moment they attempt to stop you.

Gotta say.....horsehoo to your “oh please” retort.

The state DMV or state public utilities commissions have been doing commercial truck inspections for years......not federal flipping agents.

VIPR is intended by TSA (on their website) to extend to bus stations, passenger rail and passenger water traffic....again, I say federal flipping agents only this time checking people...the feds in intra-state policing. This is new ground and NOT what congress intended when they formed these bunch of airport metermaids.....oh, by the way....TSA is lobbying to ARM these ill educated trogs.

These are the budding internal security goons with loyalty to the central state that every thugee just has to have.

Nip it. Nip it. Nip it. Just say NO.

The tsa doing this deserve to be fired upon for unlawful search and seizure. Police need to know citizens will defend themselves from officers acting illegally.

Once the TSA was allowed to sexually molest young children, the handicapped and elderly women in full view by the public and without much protest, you knew it was all down the slope to oblivion from there. Soon, all we will lack are the cell bars on our homes so Napolitano, Holder and Obama can lock us in at night.

Alex Jones is not proverbial.

Alex Jones is not blind.

And, he’s not a pig.

He’s trying to make a difference.

What are you trying to do?

If I’m not mistaken, 0 recently issued an executive order that if you’re in arrears to the irs, you can’t leave the country. So to answer your question, a lot closer than you think.

Well, I just know that that post is misleading as trucks are often inspected...feds, state, whatever. They are venerable because of the danger that big rigs are on the road. One big rig crash could kill a lot of people, just as one single nuke on a big rig and a whole city is gone! That is actually probably the way it is going to happen eventually and I am glad we have people at least doing their jobs, rather than say, IRS agents who just legally steal money from us daily.

You’re correct. In the video, the TSA seems to be working in conjunction with local authorities who are not pulling vehicles off the roads, but are inspecting trucks and commercial vehicles, which appears to be at a weigh station inspecting tractors and trailers. However, I don’t know the ins and outs of commerce traffic inspection so I can’t say if they violated laws and none that I see in the video.

“In old USSR one needed a passport (or a photo ID, issued by many employers and bearing minimal security features) to buy airplane or inter-city train tickets.”

You need to show ID to buy an Amtrak ticket these days.

You may be asked to produce ID when the conductor on the train collects your ticket.

I know, I used to work there (now retired).

What are you trying to do?

Well, I'm trying not to make money off a radio show preying on the not-very-bright.

The TSA will be doing random searches of people’s homes and businesses soon.

You betcha. How this site degenerates Alex is a problem hard to understand.
