Washington Post Makes Correction to Romney Hit Piece Without Notifying Readers
Newsbuster ^

Posted on 05/11/2012 6:17:40 AM PDT by Perdogg

It is customary when a newspaper makes an after-publication correction or change to an article for it to notify readers that an alteration has taken place.

Some time after the Washington Post published a 5000-word hit piece on Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney Thursday, a key edit was made to the article without such a notification.

This reporter should be fired for fabricating this piece. This is exactly why I no longer trust any big media. I have seen this type of crap to often to think it was a mistake. I am far from any kind of Mitt supporter and find this to be very very disgusting.

American journalism and the American press have degenerated into nothing more than a propaganda machine. Truth for its own sake is not even a consideration.

This is part of the decadence, known as "liberalism" or "progressivism" (Orwellian terms), into which Western Civilization, including American Civilization, has degenerated. Just as its "new morality" is nothing more than immorality, its "higher truth" is nothing more than untruth.

The fundamental evil basic to this decadence is mendacity--scorn of truth.

And note tagline.

Does anyone recall when a MSM hit piece aimed at a Dem had to be restated? I am not going to wait till hell freezes over for that one.

I cannot wait for everyone one of these POSs to go out of business.

Wait a minute! Who are you going to believe, the Regime Newspaper or some internet hack?

The original story was top-notch professional journalism, double-secret fact-checked and sourced by Lucy Ramirez, with authentic journalist veracity, with original documents from a Texas National Guard colonel, who has no axe to grind. And verified by unbaised witnesses with completely accurate photographic memories of events that transpired 50 years ago.

We all fondly recall all our high school classmates, and bear no grudges or resentments against any of them, remember. None of them would ever lie or embellish or recall events differently than us. Right?

I guess they figured no one would notice?

Incredible arrogance. And, worse.

The prerequisite to get this country back on track is to totally destroy any shred of credibility which the mainstream media has left.

Replacing ObaMao is only a step in the right direction. As long as the mainstream media can herd 20% to 30% of the voters in whichever direction they wish, we will only get temporary reprieves from fast track socialism, not the total change in direction that we need.

The WaPo, The Boston Globe, the NY Times have become school newsletters. They are read avidly by Libtards and utterly ignored by everyone else outside of school. That they are collapsing financially tells the story.

I can't stand Romney for his political positions (RINO), nothing personnel, I have a question, who in the hell reads the Washington Post anyway? Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh! the asshats that read and heed any part of this dog-shit catcher won't be voting for Romney anyway, so who cares?

Move along, nothing here to see!

I have a question, who in the hell reads the Washington Post anyway?

While they're only the 9th most widely read paper in the country, far more importantly their influence spreads virally because all the major media outlets pick up on their reporting. If you think that network effect wont reach and influence the independents who swing an election from one party to the other, you're a fool.
