Looks like Iran switched sides.
Terror is a double-edged sword. Sooner or later, Damascus was going to feel its own steel.
The religion of peace is at war again. They hate so stinking much that they divided their gutter religion in two parties and they hate each others guts and kill each other at will. Amazing how they hate so much. Either accept our brand of thinking or we will kill you! Oh, and if you don’t side with one or the other side of it, we will blow you up also! Great. Wonderful. Such peaceful, loving, caring, murdering thugs.
This overseas crap is just a diversion from domestic issues; our country has been “fundamentally changed” and we’re supposed to think Syria is important?
We no longer have the luxury of pretending to care about people halfway around the world with whom we don’t share a single trait in common.
I am rooting for a protracted Syrian civil war. The more men and materiel that are expended by that terror state the better for Israel and the U.S.
Real life Freddy vs. Jason. They just picked teams.
“I’ll take Achmaad”.
“O.K., then I’ll take Mohammad”.
...and so on.
You just wonder how long Assad can keep this up before his own military realizes they don’t need him...
When I first saw this on the news this morning, the first thing that popped into my head was wondering if we are seeing the beginning of Isaiah 17th chapter prophecy on Damascus about to be fulfilled.
Until just a couple weeks ago there had been no protesting, etc. in Damascus. The mideast news folks have been reporting that Damascus had not been affected by ‘rab spring stuff at all, showing the occasional pic of Damascus operating as usual. That’s why Basher still had his trademark stuff-eating-grin on his mush. That grin disapeared a couple days ago and now it looks like Syria is going to get the “full Libyan” treatment. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch of dirtbagz.
Terrible for the people of Damascus - who are generally well-educated and secular. The people doing this are the same ones who make life hell in Iraq.
Many Christian refugees from Iraq have fled to Damascus. Now they find that hell follows them.
The religion of pieces will never cease to amaze me.
