My old friend PM Netanyahu has done the impossible!
Jerusalem Prayer Team ^ | 5/9/12 | Mike Evans

Posted on 05/09/2012 8:55:07 AM PDT by Evil Slayer

More than 30 years ago, I anointed a young man named Benjamin Netanyahu and prophesied that he would be the Prime Minister of Israel. At the time, he was not involved in politics, and I went to Prime Minister Menachem Begin and recommended Netanyahu for his first appointment. Today my old friend is indeed the Prime Minister, and he has just accomplished something never before seen in Israel’s history.

Israel’s government is a parliamentary system (like England’s) with many political parties. The Prime Minister has just created the strongest coalition government Israel has ever known by bringing the largest opposition party into his bloc. This stunning move has given Israel a unity government at a moment the threats to the Jewish state are escalating to their highest levels ever.

Prime Minister Netanyahu believes as I do that God has placed him in the leadership position he holds “for such a time as this.” He knows all too well the reality of the threat that Israel faces. His father, who passed away last week at age 102, wrote a number of books on the history of anti-Semitism, and his older brother Jonathan was killed rescuing Israeli hostages from PLO kidnappers in 1976. He knows that those who threaten to exterminate the Jewish people must be taken seriously.

And my old friend knows something else—the power of prayer. Many times, he has expressed to me his appreciation for the prayers of believers for his people, his nation, and for him.

Today Israel is surrounded by enemies and besieged on every side, but together we can offer help and hope. While I was in Israel a few weeks ago, we signed the contract to purchase a five-story building within walking distance of the Temple Mount. This building will be the worldwide home of the Jerusalem Prayer Team and host the Christian Zionism Museum as a lasting witness to the Jewish people.

In the Holy City, the Jerusalem World Center will stand as a witness to the love of believers for the Jewish people…a constant presence of salt and light. It will be the headquarters for our growing humanitarian outreaches to the poor of Israel, especially the elderly Holocaust survivors. Together we will share God’s love with His Chosen People like never before. There is no doubt in my mind that God is bringing this miracle to pass to meet the challenges and threats that Israel faces today.

Netanyahu called their bluff by declaring early elections. It was a bold move, and he won. I'd never play poker with Bibi.

Prayers for Israel and her brilliant Prime Minister.

I have always admired Bibi. The first time I ever noticed him he handed Ted Koppel his head. That's when I knew this man was someone not to be trifled with.

Ted Koppel had made a habit of getting someone on his program, then ripping them to pieces. He tried this with Bibi, and by the time it was over, Bibi had made Ted Koppel look like he was a little girl whining in the corner. It was great!

Israel has a great leader, and we should back him up in the conflict with the Iranians. I doubt the current occupant of the White House has either the guts or the inclination to do the right thing.

Time for Israel to put the fear of God into all its Arab enemies by striking Iran and wiping it out as a viable threat. No pussy footing with Ahmadinejad and the mullahs — incinerate these monsters in nuclear fire. Then, tell the Palestinians, Egyptians, Syrians, Jordanians, and Saudis that they are welcome to share Iran’s fate. Either live with us in peace or die; there’s no other option. Choose wisely.

Well since being a citizen is no longer a prequisite for beig president, I suggest after Benjamin finished being Prime Minister we draft him as presidential candidate for 2016 or 2020....

Obama is attractive and looks like every kid I went to school with in 1979. Stoned.

But HOLY LORD! Bibi makes me swoon in that photo.

I just got an update related to this thread and will share it with you.........

What the new government in Israel means for war with Iran

Dear.......

The news yesterday that Prime Minister Netanyahu had created the broadest unity government in Israel’s history was greeted with shock and surprise. All the talk in Israeli politics had centered on early elections, which had been expected to be held in September. Instead, my old friend worked out a plan for the largest opposition party to become part of his government.

This change will impact Israeli internal politics greatly, but nowhere is it more important than on the issue of dealing with the threat of a nuclear Iran. By creating this broad coalition, Prime Minister Netanyahu has brought about a situation where the government can speak with one voice and take whatever military steps prove to be necessary to respond to the growing threat from the mullahs of Tehran.

A united Israel presents a much stronger face to the enemies of the Jewish state. And the unity government also strengthens Israel’s ability to resist pressure from the rest of the world to ignore the problem and hope that it goes away. At this critical and prophetic moment, we must stand with God’s Chosen People in defense of the nation of Israel. When you support the Jerusalem Prayer Team, you are standing on the front lines of the urgent spiritual battle for Israel’s very survival. ---Snip----

I will certainly DITTO that!

If Bibi was an American citizen I would have been begging him to run for President years ago! God Bless him and all warriors for peace in Israel and in our beloved America!
