A proposed resolution to commend the Boy Scouts of America on its 102nd anniversary died today in an Assembly committee because the measure did not urge the group to accept gays and lesbians.
Instead, the Assembly Judiciary Committee passed a separate resolution that applauded the Boy Scouts but said its policy against accepting homosexuals is harmful and discriminatory -- and should be reconsidered.
The measure that passed, crafted by committee Chairman Mike Feuer, D-Los Angeles, encouraged the group to "accept for membership and leadership positions all qualified boys and men, without discriminating on the basis of sexual orientation or religious beliefs."
Assemblyman Mike Morrell, R-Rancho Cucamonga, wrote the resolution that died in the committee by a party-line vote, supported by Republicans. He said he simply wanted his Assembly Concurrent Resolution 94 to commend the group for its many good deeds, not to make the issue political.

Yeah, I’m sure the Scouts also discriminate on the basis of previous sex offender status and felony convictions. That’s gotta be racist and/or homophobic. How dare they?

The general public has no idea why the Boy Scouts had to institute the no homo policy. Thousands of raped boys. Pervs made the boy scouts into their sex playground. They had it down to a science. Elton John wagged “sexy” boy scouts at a concert for the entertainment of his insider perv pals.
To force all people to celebrate the sin of homosexuality discriminates against religious beliefs.

Sometimes it seems like a twisted Twilight Zone episode. Go back 50 years ago, and weave a wild story of the future, in which governments condemn the Boy Scouts, and celebrates perversions and buggery. Nah, nobody would believe it!
The Boy Scouts have all of the right enemies. They are the type of organization deserve contributions.
Secular humanism IS a religion.
It positions man as God and says white man is born with original sin for which he must pay wealth to the rest of the world to atone for that sin (overconsumption, too much wealth, imperialism, sexism, slavery, et al). Don’t ask for any accountability to how that money that is sent to third world nations is actually spent. That’s imperialist and colonialist. Third world marxist dictatorships are okay, they are working things through without the inherently evil segment of society influencing them to “sin”.
A very good experience for boys! Pray none of the fine young Scouts fall away and wind up degenerate and dishonest like certain politicians we neednt name ,...Bravo, scouts! (And to hell with the sickos in Sacramento)
