I'll support the GOP again when they are ready to make common cause with me instead of Marxist demagogues. Till then, I won't "eat the rich" but neither will I defend them from those who will.
It isn’t just conservatives, either. I am not a conservative, but a classical liberal and I feel like there is just no more redemptive quality in the GOP. Free markets, fostering of copious competition, and respect for property rights and individual freedom is all that I am interested in and there is just no reason to believe that is what the party cares about.
There is a toxic cloud over the beltway of late, created by hyper-partisanship and the politics of personal enrichment at the expense of everyone else. It is the ugliest thing I have ever seen, and don’t care much to contribute to it. I cannot stop what others do with their votes, but they feed the cloud to the peril of us all. May God watch over us and not deny his providence for the sake of the faithful in the very trying days and years that lay ahead.

Everything that Obama pushed that is most grievous is in the Supreme Court today, but Romney pushed it first.
The GOPE under Obama claimed they deplored it all and gave him not a single vote.

I really look forward to the party unifying after Romney loses. It’s absolutely essential that Romney get stomped so that the party elites accept that conservatives and Christians cannot be taken for granted again.
I divorced the RNC after they “chose” McCain in 2008. I voted for Sarah Palin not that knothead from Arizona but no more. More and more I’m seeing the RNC as bad as the DNC. We are in dire need of a true constitutional conservative party.
Not buying this. Conservatives outnumbered GOP-e’s. But we bickered among ourselves and handed it to Romney. He was open about his strategy being “divide and conquer” and even then we did his bidding. We even used obvious Romney-planted sound bytes to discredit the “other guy,” the conservative we didn’t agree with.
We have no one to blame but ourselves. Until we learn to unite around a single candidate, they will defeat us.
Taking over the Republican Party is the only real option. Taking our bat and ball and going home only guarantees the Devil’s win.

The Romney/Rockefeller wing of the GOP was fighting hardball for the 2012 nomination when they started working to stop, and to discredit, Governor Palin back in September of 2008.
So That explains the unhappiness, grumbling and backbiting.

Romney sounds tough but yet he had no qualms advancing the legal career of one
of the leading anti-marriage attorneys. He nominated Stephen Abany to a District Court.
Abany has been a key player in the Massachusetts Lesbian and Gay Bar Association which,
in its own words, is "dedicated to ensuring that the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court decision
on marriage equality is upheld, and that any anti-gay amendment or legislation is defeated."

That won't happen. At least one of our enemies will lose. That's something to look forward to. I'm also delighted that I don't feel any compulsion to pay any attention to this vacuous campaign. I remember the angst I used to experience waiting for the VP choice. This time, I couldn't care less if Romney choice Joe Biden himself as the VP.
If conservatives need a home, there is one party out there with a platform that is closer to their beliefs than the pubs.... it will sound crazy, but before you barf please check out their platform... with a little rework, it can be very appealing.... here it is.... Libertarians... go line item for line item on the platforms, add up the score, and you may find yourself a little shocked... freepers here do their homework, so all I am asking is to do yours.. put down 3 columns, you, libertarians and pubs... list the issues, and give a point for each issue to one party only, then add up your score... I think you will be a little surprised at the result
Sometimes in situations of tuff love you just have to let them hit bottom and be prepared to help them rebuild their life after they do. That’s where America is today. It’s time to let those who have refused the “right path” to destroy themselves and be prepared to restart and rebuild from the ashes of bad decisions. This time there will be no “intervention” attempted by me. Those who have chosen the path of destruction for this country have been warned enough. Whether they be Republican, Democrat or neither it’s time to allow them to “hit bottom”. Scripture shows over and over again that when an individual, group or country turns their back on Him He removes His protection and allows them to destroy themselves or be destroyed by others. Without God’s protection it is futile to try and save this country without Him. We can be assured that God will protect the “remnant” that remain faithful just like He did Noah, Lot, and will do for the remnant of Israel.
