IMHO, Islam isn’t a religion but more of a political asperation. Just like the KKK being a religious group, it was more political than religious.

Islam is a religion for sure. It is a murderous religion that preaches dominance of the soul, body, family, nation, and the world. In order to accomplish complete dominance, it has political and military enforcers.
Wherever its political and military enforcers are weak, the religion is not practiced to its potential. But, when its enforcers have power, Islam as a religion is practiced to its core.
Islam is a theocracy. There is no compartmentalization of politics, law, family life, and religion. In truth Christians are supposed to be Christians in all areas of their life too, but many have been secularized to believe they can be Christian on Sunday or when saying evening prayers, but live secular at work and at play, and when they vote, the rest of the time. Jesus is Lord in all areas of your life, at all times. Does it mean we want a theocracy? No but we want a government that respects Christianity like our Founders had. We know when Christ comes back He will establish His rule over all, and THAT will be technically what we call a theocracy. Just in His case it will be a perfect one.
