And ditto to the learning from differing views, and constantly re-examining our own because we read them.
I've been a life long conservative, but have honed some of my views because of things I've learned here.
If that's going to end because people are in danger of being zotted for expressing those differing, but still conservative views, then this forum can't recover.
I have some hope now that things will settle down and we can begin working together instead of eating our own.

I agree with that.
But the pro-Romney shills who expect us to forget about his record and support him as if he were a true blue conservative and bash those who don’t agree.... those are the ones who would make my trigger finger itch. If I had a trigger.
For the record I have never been a moderator, and have never been asked to be one. Even though I agree with Jim Robinson about 99.5%+ of the time. :p
