I’ve read Hoogendyk is leaving Michigan for 3 days to help Mourdock in Indiana. Weird.

Well, at least he knows how important that Senate race is in neighboring IN, and he has time to spare (the MI primary isn’t until August, and Mourdock can come in and repay the favor to Hoogendyk).
The MI primary isn’t until August. And if Mourdock wins (and I think he will), Mourdock might reciprocate by campaigning for Hoogendyk in MI-06. So I think this is a pretty smart move for Hoogendyk, not to mention that it shows him to be a true conservative unafraid to take on the establishment (in case anyone had any doubt).
That’s interesting. I hope they both are in Congress next year.
