Because he’s a weaselly little man who never accomplished anything in his life, and he gets a thrill out of long distance killing.

He’s trying to divert attention from the economy. bin Laden is the one and only success that he’s had while President, so naturally, he wants to talk about something that he was successful at.
But it just highlights his other failures.
The best thing Romney can do is steer the campaign back to the economy. Stop talking about this. Don’t try to defend it. Most people know what nonsense it is anyway.

Someone posted a few days ago that Zer0 claiming OBL’s “kill” is the same as Nixon getting the credit for Apollo 11 landing on the moon.

Why does he always have to travel just to give a speech ?Mainly because when visiting military bases guaranteed attendance is assured.
He can't bus his usual paid cheering audience in, but the military can be ordered to attend. No choice.
Captive audience looks huge.

Because ... that "terrible Bush economy" that he inherited was about a bazillion times better than the one he's since created himself?
It's the one thing that's gone right since Zero's inauguration -- even if the only thing he did was get out of the way.
