Uh, I think we already tried that in 2008, and look where we are now. Why would this time be any different?

Yeah, what you said. Im still scratching my head over the primaries. I had high hopes, given that we had a few conservatives in the field. One by one. they were picked apart by the media, leaving us with the likes of Romney. As a Texan, the nomination is pretty much a done deal before we even get to vote.
My nose is still out of joint from holding it and pulling the voting booth lever (I havent felt good about casting a vote since Reagan), but I will do er again.

I dunno, I think the Tea Party was not so much about supporting specific politicians as about dethroning incumbents.
We knew some of the candidates would prove to be mushy later on. Our philosophy back then as I recall was: fine, in a few years we’ll throw them out too.

Social issue may not be important to you, they are important to millions.
We are not stupid, and understand that life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is important, social and economic issues are not mutually exclusive.

They weren't picked apart by the media so much as Mitt Romney spent millions lying about their character and their record.
Why do you think conservatives despise Mitt Romney?
It's the combination of his left-wing, Progressive Liberal record as Governor and his consistent in-your-face lying about that record and his opponents in the primary.

Doing nothing is not an option. Since money seems to be the only thing these lying POSs understand, why not a SuperPAC that gives money on condition - no tax increases, no fee increases, massive spending cuts, no abortion, no amnesty and no apologies?
In other words, a contract, fully enforceable in a court of law. You give the money in exchange for services to be rendered. No service, you pay. That’s one way.
Another way is to stop holding your nose to vote. Another way is to change party affiliations after the primaries to “Independent”, or as they say in Delaware, “Decline”.
The massive behemoth that has become the federal government must be cut drastically and drastic measures are needed. This country is too big to be governed as the Founding Fathers envisioned.

Please explain why you think Romney could possibly be better for us than Obama. I see no meaningful difference.
