We’ll likely be in Port A that weekend but, I doubt the Wife, kids and friends would allow me to duck out for some ‘other’ goodtimes.

So, Mom. What if a Freeper can’t commit that far out and just shows up at the range on the designated day?
I just spoke to Mr. Schwenke about having the shoot on his range. He said that would not be a problem, but he upped his price for non-members to $20.00. He also said (this time) he could not close the range to members ~ I told him that would not be a problem, as we are a friendly bunch that doesn’t mind sharing.
He did not remember us being there before, which he said, is a good thing ~ it means we weren’t “rascals”.
The last time Allegra & I were in the area we found a really, really great seafood place, those that arrive Friday night can meet for dinner there. Still looking (not very hard though) for a breakfast meeting place.
The after the shoot meal and social hour(s) will be held at the cottages where most of us are staying.
What do you folks say about the after the shoot meal being fish, that was caught the night before from the pier of the cottages? (Between all of us, I’m sure we could catch & filet a few fishes).
I think that is it for now.

Two months until the shoot ping.
I still have one cottage reserved, if you want it let me know. If there are not takers I will cancel that reservation next month.
The schedule so far is, dinner Friday night 7:00 at Captain Benny’s in Fulton; the shoot at Schwenke’s at 10:00 (I still need to ask him if we can cook lunch there); the after party at the cottages in Rockport. A recon trip is in order to find a place for breakfast that can accommodate all of us.
The stars at night are big and bright (50 CAL) Boom, boom, boom, boom, Deep in the heart of Texas.
