The office of the Los Angeles County coroner has completed its investigation into the death of Andrew Breitbart on March 1, and has confirmed that he died of natural causes, namely heart failure.
Chief Coroner Investigator Craig Harvey told Breitbart News that the final autopsy report would be released next week.
A press release issued by the Department of Coroner (below) notes: "No prescription or illicit drugs were detected. The blood alcohol was .04%," a negligible amount.
The press release concludes: "No significant trauma was present and foul play is not suspected."

With all due respect, this is not a memorial thread, but a thread discussing what killed him.
BTW, my opinion on medication is not intended to be considered medical advice. Sorry I didn’t add a disclaimer to my original post. Good day to you.
“Well I would hope that we could trust the coroners final results. At least I hope we could trust it”
Uh-hu. Whenever a man with the type of enemies the Progressivist/Communists in our government are, one has to at least consider murder.
Thanks, and Bless You for bringing this to our attention.
Will send a check.
BTW, I am not “bickering”. I am trying to educate my fellow Freepers on what I learned serving the fedgov.
Hits, professional hits, almost always look like illness or accidents. The hitmen study the Mark to see what vulnerabilities he might have. Heart problems? Overweight? The pros can MAKE that coronary event happen.
Such hits are carried out for organized crime, various governments, and even major corporations. In the 1980s I saw two hits, one on a friend, made by a major corporation listed on the stock exchange. My friend was suing them for wrongful termination.
I’m not paranoid; I am experienced.
Saved. Thanks.
If only I could believe the cornoner’s office was above being corrupted. I don’t. So, I don’t really know whether or not this coroner’s finding is true.
I never believed in conspiracies until this administration came along. These days my tin foil hat is getting a workout.
But at this point I don’t believe Mr. Breitbart’s death was caused by anything more than heart disease.
Can they be more specific?
And then, what causes heart failure?
It just means pump failure, but there are many causes, e.g. one or more myocardial infarctions, aka heart attacks, various types of valvular heart disease, various types of conduction abnormalities, congenital or aquired cardiomyopathies, etc. The bottom line is that it can't pump enough blood.
Heart failure doesnt say anything.
Heart failure secondary to what?
Briebhart died soon after he said he was going to make a big announcement. That big announcement was not about the merging of Briebart’s websites.

Thank you!
Sometimes God calls good men home early. RIP.
Two weeks ago in my town, there was a teen age boy who got up one morning and dropped over dead. He was pitcher on the baseball team. They discovered that he had a heart defect.
Yes. We do.
We certainly know what they want us to know.
They? Oh no. Not the dreaded “they”!! You are making my hair hurt.
Yes. That they.
At least you still have hair...
LOL
Actually, his father-in-law told reporters initially that he didn’t know of any heart problems that Andrew had. In the same article, the spokesman for the coroner’s office said he hadn’t seen a doctor for over a year. Then when people started wondering if he had been a victim of a heart attack dart - which leaves no signs in toxicology reports and the only sign it DOES leave is the small prick-hole where the dart went in (looks like a bug bite) - his friends started claiming that he had been suffering heart problems. First off it was a claim that he had moved his office closer to home because he was having heart problems, then it was that he had been taking medication, then it was that he had been hospitalized for 2 weeks after a heart attack.
But this toxicology report makes all of those sound suspicious - especially when taken with the 2 conflicting claims from the coroner’s office - that he hadn’t seen a doctor in over a year and that he had no prescription medicines in his system.
A person who’d had a heart attack within the last year and wanted to be around to take care of his little kids - AND to come out with damaging information on Obama before the next election - would take heart meds to keep from having another heart attack.
Add to that what we know now: that the technician in the coroner’s office who apparently did photography for special cases died of arsenic poisoning the day before this report came out.
Nothing in this report contradicts a heart attack dart. It does contradict chronic heart problems or a heart attack within the last year. And the person who may have photographed the body - one of the only people who would definitely know whether the photos of the dart entry hole were subsequently manipulated or deleted - was killed by arsenic poisoning the day before this report came out.
Also keep in mind that Breitbart fell to the ground dead less than 5 hours after telling Joe Arpaio that Joe’s evidence regarding Obama’s fraud and forgeries was good and that he was glad Joe would be reporting it to the public the next day. The day Breitbart died was the day that Joe’s posse reported probable cause for fraud and forgery on Obama’s BC and draft registration, and the same day that Rush Limbaugh received a bomb scare. For some strange reason, the press refused to report the evidence that was shown at that presser... They were too busy reporting on Breitbart’s death. (And they haven’t reported on the evidence TO THIS DAY).
Would an infusion of potassium cause him to be bright red? Do you know an explanation for the bright red color of his skin, as reported by a witness?
The people close to him made a lot of claims about his health but his father-in-law initially said that he knew of no heart problems, and the coroner’s office has said that he hadn’t seen a doctor in over a year and there were no prescription drugs in his body - which contradict the claims by his “close friends”.
Someone who is not allowed to be sourced here (because he apparently believes some of the 911 truther stuff) interviewed Jerry Corsi, and in that interview this guy said he had spoken to several people who were close to Breitbart who said the people close to him know it was an assassination.
Which would explain why they would put out disinformation (even though it would be contradicted by the coroner’s report) and why they refuse to report on Sheriff Joe’s findings - which Andrew had affirmed personally to Sheriff Joe less than 5 hours before he died.
