Texas Gov. Rick Perry this morning endorsed David Dewhurst for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by retiring Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison... In a tweet this morning, Dewhurst (@DavidHDewhurst) declared, “I’m honored that veteran and conservative champion @GovernorPerry is endorsing our campaign for U.S. Senate"... Perry praised Dewhurst’s loyalty and said he was glad to return the favor.

I can’t speak to Dewhurst, although it is hardly surprising that the sitting governor endorses his own sitting LtGov. It would have been considered a big slap if Perry did otherwise, would it not?
Unfortunately, it looks like Dewhurst is holding a big (if slightly decreasing) lead in RCP poll averages.
Shame on you FR Perry supporters.
He wants to send another RINO to the senate.

I met her back in 2010 when everyone though KBH was going to retire (until the final filing deadline, I wasn't entirely sure she would retire this time); she's very nice, passionate, etc., but she honestly never had a chance.

No, it was his supporters who kept telling us what a heroic tea party conservative he was that would shake up the establishment, when his record showed the opposite -- he IS the establishment.

McCain plucked Sarah Palin from obsurity and made her a national figure, she owed him big time. Perry does not owe Dewhurst for his career, it's the other way around. Just rewarding one of his lackey's.
