Newt probably can’t win the nomination outright, but Romney is a far length from doing it himself, which means this could easily become a floor fight at the convention if people keep voting for Newt and don’t let Romney get to #1 in most of the upcoming states.
Sorry but your numbers are the ones that don't add up. That is you have missing delegates, over 300 of them. Super delegates or non pledged ones from various states.
And even if you are right Romney will get over 50% if the remaining delegates.
No way Gingrich gets enough votes to deny Romney the nomination. No Way.

Yet he still insisted on spending millions of dollars attacking the other candidates. We have 9 days for the next round of voters to reconsider. If the Romneybots stay home assuming he's the winner, and the CONSERVATIVE activists show up, he could be in for a rude awakening.
