Free Republic Shows Us How To Give Obama Another 4 Years ( LOL Alert)

I've never seen anything close to the hatred of Mitt Romney than I see at FR. The hatred exceeds anything I've seen or heard from Debbie Wasserman Schultz, David Axelrod, David Plouffe or anybody else in the Obama Administration. Most of the people who can't stand Romney on our side say he'd still be much better than another 4 years of Barack Obama who will never have to face the voters again. You won't find that at FR.

Free Republic Jim Robinson: "A reminder for those who are not receiving the message:

Romney is a pathological compulsive liar. Lie after lie papered over with more lies. Doesn’t even flinch when caught in bald faced lies, simply tells another big whopper to cover up or dodge the issue. Funny thing, the man actually seems to believe his own latest lies and simply ignores the glaring record of his past actions/lies. And you have true blue establishment elite RINO Republicans like Karl Rove enabling and backing up his lies. Their motivation is simply to hang on to power (and riches) any way they can.

I’ve stated many times since Romney started running for the presidency way back when that I’d never vote for him and I will not. He cannot lie his way out of his decades long record of support for abortion, Roe v Wade, planned parenthood, gay rights, gun control, global warming, amnesty, liberal judges, big government, compulsory or socialized health care (RomneyCommieCare), mandates, Keynesian economics, support and approval of TARP, bailouts, stimulus packages, i.e, every damn liberal progressive issue that comes down the pike.

Screw Romney!! I absolutely will not support or vote for a proven compulsive liar with a known record of abortion and big government socialism, liberal appointments"

Another post (Jim Robinson):

Way to tell 'em! Then on the morning of November 7th, when Barack Obama has been reelected President for a second term, we all can high-five each other and say we stopped that establishment RINO! Makes ZERO sense. .

Anybody who votes for Romney to get rid of Obama will be forced to wear a dunce cap and run a gauntlet of true believers.

Firstly, anyone who calls themselves a conservative, and who votes for Romney to get rid of Obama, is throwing their deeply held convictions into the toilet for naught. Romney's record in office meshes nearly perfectly with the liberal Democrat agenda. Besides calling himself a Republican, he doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to one.

Secondly, voters recognize this, and will always vote for a real Socialist over Socialist-Lite, if that's what they want. Romney will not beat Obama in the general, because he's already de-fanged himself with his own record. There isn't one bloody issue of national importance that he can challenge Obama on and make it stick, because he's guilty of the same transgressions against our mutually held agreements that Obama is.

So tell me, what exactly are you expecting in return for your very soul?

And I come from a state (Mass. as it turns out) where
folks like Romney and Brown are considered “far right
Rethuglicans” by many, though each managed to get elected once

O please! Spare me! Romney’s ass was kicked out of MA. because he ran to the left of Ted Kennedy.

Brown better tow the line or he’ll be sent packing. Conservatives don’t want Mitt type (R’s).

(R) Baker and his log cabin Lt. Gov., lost because they are like Maggot Mitt. Abortion pushing, homosexual loving, gun grabbing Anti-American cowardly thugs!!!

Had we someone like Scott Beleau, (R’s) would have won in a landslide.

BTW, I’m sooooo sick and tired of of these pundants excusing Murdering Mitt because, “MA IS A LIBERAL STATE DONCHA KNOW!”

Does Reagan Democrat ring a bell? Maggot Mitt single-handidly destroyed this once fine state.

NO ROMNEY! NO WAY!
THIS MONSTER SHOULD BE RUNNING ON THE DEMOCRAT TICKET!

In 1992 you helped usher Clinton into ofice. At that time I was myself a serviceman, and the hell of the next eight years means that my personal feelings for you for that one cannot be spoken on FR or within 10 miles of a church without risking some sort of lightning.

What we got with Clinton was a Republican majority in the House and Senate for the first time in 40 years. We got welfare reform and we had balanced budgets towards the end.

With Romney we're screwed even worse than with Obama. There will be a huge backlash in 2014 against the party in power. I'd rather it be against DemocRATS. The question is, can the Republican Party shed itself of the Old Guard and be the party that revives America after the 2016 election.

I too was a serviceman during the Clinton years, but I look beyond my own personal interests...I'm more concerned with the overall impact on my country.

Yes I agree that much of how folks have handled their opinions on FR have not always been with any sort of decorum or common sense in working towards getting the right person selected to be our candidate.

However, all you need to do is a search on my user name to see what I have posted. You will see I consistently had one stance. That is that everyone has got to work towards getting the right conservative selected because O has got to go in 2013, and pay little attention to the face.

Consistently I espoused that the only person we should each work for is not a person at all, but SCOTUS. That is what this presidential election really is all about... SCOTUS. The dems as a party know this and are laughing at our stupidity in not keeping our eye on the main thing in the election.. SCOTUS!

They are fully aware that holds particularly true as the next presidential term means the person will get to appoint 2 or 3 justices. That will set the tone of the country for a very long time if not forever. And the dems know this and really don't care who they get in to be president, they just want to control this round of appointments to SCOTUS.

We need to keep such a single minded view on this election too.

You mean like they have the last 4 years /s Obama has already proved he can do anything he damn well pleases and no repub or no demo is going to stop him.

There is the flavor of that, but I don't think it's entirely accurate. He did a lot more damage in 09 and 10 (Obamacare, etc.) than he did last year, after his disastrous midterms. You might make the argument that he's intentionally backing off as he nears reelection ("after my last election, I'll have more flexibility" -- you have to be flexible to bend over and grab your ankles), but it doesn't seem that way from what I've seen. As feckless as the Congressional GOP is, they have made a difference.

Naah, with Willard, you’re going 105... he just tells you he’s going 55, and in the opposite direction.

Why do I feel like I'm in a kennel strapped to the top of Willard's car? I'm beginning to understand how his dog must have felt.

Now Dick Cheney joins the purge list. If Ronald Reagan was alive, you would say he abandoned his principles eventually.

What are you talking about? You sound like a deranged Romneybot.

All these guys like Levin, Hannity, etc., are folding around Romney because that’s what they do. They coalesce around anyone with an R regardless of their beliefs. It keeps them in the club.

Who knows if they are violating their beliefs because thy have no principles, or they just are really moderates themselves.

I can’t think of a single member of the GOP they haven’t gotten on their knees for.

Have you considered that the U.S. as we know it may not exist in 2016 if Obama gets a second term? I’m 65; I’ve seen presidents come and presidents go. I have never seen such a dramatic downgrading of our country in 3+ years than has happened under this scumbag. AND, the downgrading does not seem to have come about thru ineptitude as with Carter - this all seems to have been very intentional. Give this guy another 4+ years and your vaunted future may be completely meaningless.

That’s my thinking.

Now Dick Cheney joins the purge list.

If he's supporting Romney, he's absolutely purged. I make no allowances for any conservative luminaries who decide to throw their principles out the window to support a craven liberal for president.

Principles matter. You either have them, or you don't. Someone who's willing to betray their most deeply held beliefs in order to win an election, will also stick a shiv in your back while justifying it to themselves.

That's real life, friend, and this election is as real as it gets.

>>Mark Levin failed the ultimate conservative test on the day he made that statement.<<

Your statement is idiotic. Mark Levin did not “fail” any conservative test.

If you think Mark Levin is not a conservative, you have no sense whatsoever.

He’s doing all he can to get the America-destroying Marxist out of the White House.

Your hysterics are a little over-the-top.

It’s amazing what I see on FR these days.

People, even true blue conservatives, who are trying to get Obama out of the White House by any means possible are demonized, while those who have NO plan to do so imagine themselves to be heroic.

Lunacy rules the day.

Your statement is idiotic. Mark Levin did not “fail” any conservative test.

He most certainly did fail the test, just as you're doing by justifying his traitorous shilling for Romney.

This race isn't over. There's still a REAL conservative in the race, yet you're too cowardly to back him up and help him win this thing. You're all too eagerly rolling over for evil, just as Levin and other weaklings are doing.

People like you disgust me. You stand for nothing, so you'll fall for anything.
