Michele Callan and her fiancé Josue Chinchilla were not expecting to have to abandon their new home in Toms River, N.J., but that is exactly what happened. The couple and Callan's two children claim that there is a demonic presence in their new home.

Lots of haunting going on in lots of houses these days.
For example, there’s a demonic presence occupying the White House, and it will have to be dragged out of there, kicking and screaming and spitting and cursing, on January 20th.

The couple reported, “Clothes and towels being thrown all over the floor and light switches being turned on”. Oh dear me... I must have one, too. All this time, I’ve been yelling at the kids! My ghost likes to leave peanut butter smears on the walls and leaves the toilet seat up.
I smell a book/movie deal!
The previous owner of our home killed himself. When we first moved in, our dog would perk up and start growling and/or barking. This was usually followed by the light switch flicking on. Sometimes we would find the 3rd floor storage room door open. We had to prop something very heavy against it (let in a lot of heat or cold since it wasn’t air conditioned). This has stopped over the last 4 years.
Funny how all the ghost shows immediately inject “demons” into the mix whenever the suggestion is made about a place being haunted.
That being said I have to say having seen some weird stuff over the years and I do believe a place can be haunted. My parents house has had strange things happen from the day they built it, that we have bent over backward to logically explain and in many cases cannot.
We were by no means believers in ghost/spirits etc... until finally as I said some of the stuff just had no logical explanation and could not be explained away. Things still happen and my parents pretty much ignore it and might respond, Oh the ghost did it and go on about their business.
What’s funny is when we have said nothing about the house to relatives, neighbors and friends and they visit usually they will discreetly pull one of us aside and ask is this place haunted?
I didn’t believe in them until one of them nailed me in the chest and sent me flying backward against the wall. Still have the tape recording of this thing screaming that it wanted to kill me.
Now I am much more aware of them and they don’t bother me. They still don’t like me though! For years I would remove them from people’s houses when they would cause trouble.
There is far more to this than most people realize.

Nothing like that, lots of doors opening and closing, some of the doors locked that open and close, the cat being in the house when my parents would put him out for the day while at work, hearing people walking around in other rooms when your are there by yourself or everyone else is in the same room as you, catching glimpses of someone walking by your bedroom doorway and you are the only one there, things disappearing and reappearing in just the most weird places, having your clothes tugged on only to turn around and nothing is there.
On several occasions my parents have popped in the bedroom door of myself and siblings waking us up asking if we were okay because they heard crashing sounds which woke them up only to find everyone sleeping and nothing out of place. Weird stuff like that.
The original experience was not an exorcism. I was just holding both hands of a woman and saying the Lord’s prayer when it came out of her and nailed me. Took about 5 days to get it out of me.
Every time I would try to pray during that time it would lock up my facial muscles so that it felt as though my face was covered with plastic wrap and I couldn’t breathe. Finally got it into my right hand. Felt like it had been run over by a truck it hurt so bad, and then I was able to push it out with prayer.
When these things try to move into a person it often begins as a severe cramp in the hand or arch of the foot and then moves inward. Many people think it is a stroke in process.
I don’t do exorcisms per se. I just project prayerful thoughts of Love and compassion toward them and they leave out of fear that it will destroy them. Most exorcisms are done for the show of other people watching. This type of work is best done alone with no one observing, so they don’t get stung. It’s kind of like removing a hornet’s nest. If the person observing is not protected, they will get stung and then you have twice as much work.
The experience I referred to in post #16 did that after I pushed him from my hand. Took another few days to completely get rid of him as he tried to re-enter the woman he came from at the exact moment he left my hand. Didn’t matter that she was about 15 miles away and had no idea what I was doing.
However, she remembered what I had told her and started saying the prayer, it forced it to leave her body and the stroke symptoms ceased, but then the doors would open and close in her relatively new house. That lasted about three days until I realized what had happened and corrected the problem. It’s not me though. It’s done through me, (in spite of me!)
I think you need to talk to your cat.

Like THE AMNITYVILLE HORROR by Jay Anson and the subsequent movie deals. Passed off as true, then years later they all ‘fessed up that they made up the whole story. But the gullible, and New Agers ate it up!
