It isnt over yet, but it will be unless Conservatives rally round and ensure a couple of big wins for Gingrich. And soon.
Besides, many of the Santorum haters were Mittbots from the beginning and the rest, well, being so mean-spirited is it's own punishment.
Anyone but Romney!
Well I’m going to Newt because there is not a chance in hell I’m supporting RINOmney. Besides him being a lib I’d rather cut off my left nut then ever support a politician from Assachussets or anything coming from Assachussets for tht matter. Every-single-problem we face today as a nation is a direct result of the products of that state. From their Harvard grads, to their politicians and the libs who elect them... Plus the guy hasn’t got a chance in hell of beating the foreign Marxist. All the foreign Marxist has to say in any debate is “But you did the same thing Gov. Romney” which would be true. Newt on the other and would obliterate the Kenyan, I just hope he don’t drop out.
I am committed to staying in this race all the way to Tampa so that the conservative movement has a real choice.
It would take a miracle to turn this mess around, but Good for Newt.
We should be thankful he is staying in the race - but that’s Newt - ANYTHING FOR AMERICA! A Patriotic spirit!
Thank you Newt!!

Go Newt.......
I voted for Santorum in IL, but he’s out. Newt’s in. Go Newt.
AND though there are going to be some winner take all primaries, the following contests are also on the schedule:
RI (16) proportional
NY (92) proportional
WVA (28) proportional -- elect delegates (who list their presidential pick on ballot)
NC (52) proportional
OR (25) proportional
AK (33) proportional
KY (42) proportional
TX (155) proportional
CA (169) proportional (by district)
NM (20) proportional
SD (25) proportional
There there are the Contested delegates: . delegates have to be "uncontested" in order to count. The frontrunner's rivals argue some of the states that awarded Romney all of their delegates violated Republican National Committee rules when they moved their contests ahead of April 1 and therefore should distribute delegates proportionally. This dispute, if it continues, would not be ruled on until the August convention in Tampa.
"All the media counts right now give him all of Florida, which is against the rules, all of Arizona, which is against the rules, and all of Idaho," Gingrich said Monday. "Those are all three proportional states and they should only be counting his share. So he has to win 1,144 uncontested delegates."
FL: 50 delegates
ID: 32 delegates
AZ: 29 delegates
Just saw on the News (April 11, 2012.. 6:00 a.m. CDT) that Gov. Bobby Jindal, who initially endorsed Rick Perry, is now endorsing Mitt Romney. Guess everyone is throwing in the towel. Why are so many people reluctant to endorse Newt? I don’t understand.
Politicians are getting intense financial pressure from the Romney gang to endorse him. That is no reason why the voters should follow suit.
There is no rational argument for Santorum's crowd to not support Newt.
Having said that, I'm sure there's someone amongst Conservatives who will try.
Politicians are getting intense financial pressure from the Romney gang to endorse him.

What do you mean “financial pressure”?
Perhaps they know they wont get away with the $hit they’re getting away with right now ??
Or perhaps they’re really RINO’s as well ?
Those are the two that I think are most likely.
-——There is no rational argument for Santorum’s crowd to not support Newt-——
The rational argument....
“By analyzing the data available and projecting it forward on a state by state basis, there is no chance Newt can win”
Having said that, I voted for Newt in the Tennessee Primary. I am not able to make the calculation because I don’t have the data required. I can though present the basis for a rational argument
After the skirmishes in the Republican primaries are over, the fight to the death will be with Obama. Best to keep powder dry and plenty of it for killing off Obama.
We must turn the tide against liberalism before America
is swept away by their tsunami. Please do your part.
Support conservative candidates. Vote. Support Free Republic.
Politicians need cash to run. Moneyed interests say “Do this” if you want any money.
