I have always thought it was fixed to especially since Jimmy Carter and they gave us a real look after he won the election his family. the only thing missing in Dog Patch USA was his mother without her corn pone pipe. I was a lot younger than; but I knew something was wrong.
I said that only because I have lost patience with our low life elected officials.
You are right. I have been telling my husband forever about these creeps. He finally saw tape of video of Obama and listened to him. Was shocked beyond belief.
Rush when Romney loses the GOP establishment will be saying “we should have gotten someone more moderate instead of that conservative Romney.
Rush wrote:
“The only thing I can tell you, Ken, is that Romney came by here in January. I think it was the 13th, the middle of the month. And I met with him after the show. It was about 4:30. I met with him for almost an hour, and he left here for a huge fundraiser a mile down the road, mile and a half. And during that conversation — I’ve mentioned this to you — he said to me that he wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up being a one-term president because he’s got to shake things up. This country can’t go the direction it’s going or his children and grandchildren and nobody else’s will have a future. When he was talking about that, he sounds just like you and me.”
Hate to say this, but Rush you are incredibly naive if you bought that. Of course, you wouldn’t be the first gullible person to fall for a Mormon snake oil salesman.
Whatever, I WILL NOT SUPPORT ROMENY EVER.
I hope person’s that were inclined to vote for Santorum in coming primaries will give their votes to Newt. I want to see this convention be “open.” I don’t think Romney will prevail IF he fails to get the magic number that will give him enough votes on the first ballot.
GOP - You had better get someone other than Romney IF you want this life long GOP voter to support the nominee in the general election. I will not vote for Romney.
The aggregate of the Tea Party is large enough to take over the American, Conservative, and the Constitution parties. Then draft Palin and put her at the top of each ticket. Don’t ask her just do it. Then all of us get out and campaign like it’s the end of the world, because it is.
When ever a media personality attacks Palin, swamp them with E-MAILS, phone calls even face to face and ram their slurs back down their throats.
I was a Rick guy, but with him gone I'm now an ABO guy. Regarding Romney attacking our Dear Leader, I'll give him credit so far. He has been scathing on Obama and his failed policies. Will he continue that in the run-up to November? My gut says yes, since he's a different kind of guy than McCain (in that regard). Romney, like Gingrich, has an edge to him and that bodes well for our side, particularly once the MSM begins pounding him.
Whomever our eventual nominee is, they'll have to fight twice as hard.
Me, I will more than likely be playing golf. Can't do any worse there than throwing away my vote for the GOPE candidate.
It's not just the old-line party apparatus...
You've got Romney with a significant ownership position in talk radio.
I don't know what the solution is, except for enough people to become wise to the liberal media and quit listening to them when they hype a RINO. And for people to get serious about their core values.
If that's your hardcore attitude then I look forward to your post of the photo of the "Obama 2012" bumper sticker on your car. Even the much-loved Sarah Palin said "anyone but Obama." I agree with her, not you. Four more years of Obama would be a disaster.
Mitt said just what Rush would like to hear. Rush should not believe a word of it.
Oh....and btw, try making the same suggestion to Jim, and see how long you last here bub....
,....and then go back to your Romney folks.
YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!!!!!
In both secular and ecclesiastical politics, too many conservatives who care about their families, businesses and churches don't understand that the liberals care about taking control of the levers of power which can destroy all three.
I can't begin tell you how many times I've had to argue with elders who give lots of time to their local church, but didn't want to take time off work to attend classis, synod, presbytery, or general assembly meetings, and then groused their heads off when the liberals won a key denominational vote. Same for local government, where the best candidates for city council and school board and county commission — the typical training grounds for candidates for state legislatures, which are the typical training grounds for candidates for Congress — are often people who are very comfortable with government bureaucracies rather than private business.
I am definitely **NOT** saying that a career government official makes a bad elected official — sometimes they know where all the bodies are buried and after retirement go on a crusade against waste and abuse. On the other hand, too many conservative businessmen and businesswomen don't get involved in local government and prefer to complain about how the country is collapsing around them.
In a nation where people elect their leaders, the people typically get more or less the government they deserve. That's not blaming individual people, especially Freepers who are working their tails off, but it is a problem for the conservative movement. As a group, we are so concerned about building our homes, our families, our businesses, our churches and our schools that we fail to recognize that what happens in the sphere of civil government can destroy everything for which we have worked in the spheres of the family and the church.
Conservatives, especially conservative Christians, ignore civil government at our peril.
Your post needs to be read by every breathin ass on this forum. You sir, are right on.
>> Santorum is a big government socialist. Period.
Yes, and just a shade that is pleasing to many on the “Right”.
Go Newt!!!
Blow it out your backside pal.You dont have any idea what you are talking about.Loons? You’re the loon.
Miz Lillian? She wasn't missing. She didn't have a corn cob pipe, however we don't know whether she did not chew, or rubbed betwixt her teeth and gum.
