Taxpayer :” I can’t believe these high gas prices. They are over $4 per gallon.“

Obama supporter :” They are?“

Taxpayer :” You haven’t noticed?“

Obama supporter :” Well, yes I have. But I think it will be good for this country to pay higher gas prices. In Europe they pay $10 per gallon. We are used to using too much energy in this country and must be forced to cut back.“

Taxpayer :” Are you nuts? IF you raised gasoline prices to $10 per gallon it would kill our already weak economy. “

Obama supporter :” No. High gas prices will force consumers to use less and support Green energy and climate change initiatives to save the planet. That will create high paying jobs and be good for us.“

Taxpayer :” Green energy? What type of green energy are you talking about?“

Obama supporter :” Windmills and solar panels and Algae. “

Taxpayer :” Really? Are you going to put them on your car instead of buying gasoline?“

Obama supporter :” No. They will power the batteries in our electric cars.“

Taxpayer :” Electric cars? You mean those slow little toys costing 50 thousand dollars, that only go 40 miles before they need a eight hour battery re-charge and then light on fire? Good luck when some uninsured drunk illegal alien hits it and squashes it like a bug. How much will windmills and solar panels and electric cars cost each of us?“

Obama supporter :” It doesn't matter. It’s our duty to sacrifice to save the planet.“

Taxpayer :” Sacrifice my ass! The only good news is Obama is the one getting the blame for us having to pay high gas prices this time. “

Obama supporter :” That shouldn’t happen.“

Taxpayer :” Why not? Obama said that high gas prices are good for us, just like you told me they were now. Why not get the credit for it.“

Obama supporter :” Because it’s all the greedy speculators fault. Those greedy Wall Street speculators are driving up gas prices.“

Taxpayer :” Well, you must love them for raising gas prices and saving the planet. Are they liberals like you?“

Obama supporter :” No! They are bad. They are driving up the price of oil to get rich by gouging the middle class just like the oil companies are. They are all in this together.“

Taxpayer :” But according to you the speculators are saving the planet just like Obama wants them too by raising gas prices. I thought you just said high gas prices are good for us“

Obama supporter :” No. they have the wrong motive. Oil companies and speculators just want to make money. Obama has a pure motive. He really wants to save the planet.“

Barack Obama's pal Warren Buffett lost a billion dollars ($1,000,000,000) in 2008 running up the price of gasoline in an election year.

And Barack's motive isn't pure, he wants to bankrupt this nation to employ a radical economic "solution" known as Socialism. The whole "Americans MUST pay more" is Marxist redistribution. The poor socialist countries are permitted to billow out toxic fumes.

Since when is reducing Americans' standard of living (among the highest in the world) a "pure" motive?

You can't go around driving your vehicle where you want to, running your AC at whatever temperature you want to, while reading a book with whatever wattage lightbulb you want to.

There is no free economy under Democrats, you MAY NOT live as you please. But bugger each other male or female with no cost or consequence.

We are now all global citizens now and must put others needs ahead of our own, the lib in the video explains how the public schools teach kids this.

And just what planet is it that Obama is supposed to be saving? Jupiter, maybe? Or Twin-Earth, which just happens to be just exactly on the opposite side of the sun from us, occupying exactly the same orbit (thus explaining why we are unaware of its existence)?

For sure he is not doing much for this planet. The good news is, that no matter WHAT steps Obama takes, or the relative degree of success these steps may have, it will mean exactly ZERO in terms of how much the overall climate will be affected (or not affected). WAY too many variables that make the relative concentration of carbon dioxide irrelevant.

Maybe so but making us sacrifice our lifestyles to the Gods of the environment may convince them to show us mercy with extreme weather situations. All the early religions involved a sacrificial ritual to keep the gods at bay, some required children. In this case they just want our carbon fuels as a appeasment insurance.
