ABC News: Enhanced Video Shows Injury To Zimmerman's Head

Reporting that it has had the video "clarified" by a forensics company, ABC News is now saying that a police surveillance recording of George Zimmerman "shows the neighborhood watch captain with an injury to the back of his head."

Last Wednesday, when it broke the news of the video's existence and broadcast it, ABC News said "no abrasions or blood can be seen in the video." We posted about that report, while noting that "it is possible that paramedics cleaned any blood before Zimmerman arrived at the police station."

Now, ABC News says, Forensic Protection Inc. has digitally improved the clarity of the video and there appears to be a "gash or mark" near the top of the back of Zimmerman's head.

The network adds that "the enhanced video does not show any visible injury to Zimmerman's nose, nor any signs of blood on his shirt."(continued)

As some FReepers have pointed out, not only did ABC try to say there was no injury, they SUPERIMPOSED A GRAPHIC OVER THE AREA THE INJURY WOULD HAVE BEEN. This is just as bad as NBC altering the audio of Zimmerman’s 911 call. Or worse.

Is ABC covering their ass? I think it’s likely they originally had a video that was of better quality than the one they released with the LYING headline that there was no bruises or blood. They were oh so careful to say they had it (their degraded video) enhanced by a particular company so no one would suspect that they did not release the best version they had.

Not only that, but I expect the next photo I see of Trayvon Martin will be either his baby picture or the sonogram when he was still in utero!!

I didn't need a video "forensics" specialist to tell me what is perfectly plain: If Zimmerman hadn't had injuries that showed he'd been in a struggle (and which matched the various recordings and statements), he would've been booked on a manslaughter charge.

A number of questions come to mind: Why did the media and the political left (I know, redundant) decide to use this case in such a way? Why not simply wait a bit until the next black teenager gets popped by a white guy during a convenience store robbery or something? In short, what's the hurry? Surely they could've found a shooter who better fit the obviously pre-written script.

Enhancing garbage will yield garbage. Read a few ‘stories’ concerning some jackass who claims he could do voice ID with shrieks over a cell phone, after being recorded and then played back, for him to record again. This whole situation is bad. I take my opinion from the slain one’s facebook photo giving everyone the finger. Not excusing zimmerman though.

Why is the media using this case in “such a way”? Same reason they turned on the mega-super-hyper-hype machine over the contraception flap. To get people “engaged” and opposing something the ghoulish liberals can run against.

The electorate is apathetic towards Owebama, at best, including women and minorities. The fake polls even show this. The STATE-RUN media got their orders through OweBama’s network and the contraception deception and the fake “racial issue” was front and center, 24/7, as ordered.
