I just got a bag of Hershey’s kisses and eggs in Easter colors to “hide” Saturday night for my Dad...been doing it for years and years and years. He’ll keep finding them for months.

The weather has turned back to normal......it sucks. But you know what follows two days of rain in Hilo, right?

LOL! I do know....except for Tuesday at 39 degrees, it is supposed to be mid 40s thru next Sunday, with some snow and rain showers, but still freezing at night. I really am ready for that to stop.

Back when I was in the Navy, stationed on carriers, I used to list the classes of carriers as such (back in the 90’s):
Midway class, CV-41, 42, 43
Forrestal class CV-59, 60, 61, 62
Kitty Hawk class CV 63, 64, 66
Nimitz class CVN-68 - up

and the Experiment, Enterprise CVN 65 (let’s see if we can build a nuke carrier)

and the Bastard Stepchild, John F. Kennedy CV-67 (supposed to be the first of the class of nukes, but Congress wanted to save money.)

Looks like we had a rain shower pass this way
some time in the middle of the night.
Warm and a bit breezy this morning.
Hopefully shaping up to be nice later on.
