The reason? There is no authentic, truth-seeking journalist in the entire bunch. The are ALL marching in lock-step with Barack Hussein Obama. I definitely fear for this country if this b - - - - - d is voted back into Office. I also fear for freedom-loving Americans who chose to oppose to the death, the tentacles of Socialism.
And there is the Lame John McCain whining about how mean the Syrian dictator is being to “his own people.” Does anyone think for a minute that our fearless PINO wouldn’t do the same thing in a heartbeat if the Patriots took to the streets to bring this Govt. down?

John Adams said that this country’s Constitution was designed for a moral and religious people and was totally unsuited for anything less. Civil war is inevitable, I am afraid, and partitioning is the only solution that will work.
Start a gang/race war between the blacks and Hispanics. Let them kill each other off and let LE and the military kill them both off and round up the rest.

It won’t be the 300+ million weapons in the hands of 100 million American. It will be an over whelming force against 50 gun owners in one county with radio and TV blacked out and phone and Internet turned off and when that fifty are dead they will move on to the next county and the next and the next. Without effective communications “we the people” will be severely handicapped and ultimately dead.

I don't believe so, else it wouldn't have occurred. They were far more self-reliant in those days, and subjected to far less tyranny. Our oppressors see no need to afflict us with large bands of armed and uniformed fighters. Likely no need EVER. And without that, who is going to start fighting them with outright violence? And before the British soldiers were shooting at Americans, the Americans were resisting paying taxes, even in violation of the law, in significant numbers. Are we doing that? They resorted to tarring and feathering scoundrels, too. We don't even shower them with glitter.

The ammo is basic hollow point, nothing special from what I've read at better sources.
They are purchasing one kind of ammo to be carried and practiced with. It makes sense. I've worked with several police departments and many practice with carry ammo.
Also, the contract is not a guaranteed purchase of 450 million rounds. It's up to 450 million.
Someone did the math 2 1/2 weeks ago when this, now old, story was published and found if they did buy the max amount: it is less than 2,500 rounds per agent over the course of the contract.
That's pretty much practice ammo.

There are a few out there trying to make hay with this ammo purchase. I’ve read on some of the gun boards, when this is broken down it’s about 1k rounds per agent for the year. They point out several of them shoot that in a month.
Also, the “detention centers” at the ICE linky, there ain’t that many listed and roughly half are city and county jails.
