I thought it wasn’t until 4/22. Guess I’ll have to fire up both vehicles for an hour and crank up the heat to 80, fire up the clothes dryer, turn on my amps, all the tv’s, radios, cd players and all the lights this evening. CO2 for everybody! Woo Hoo! Keepin’t it warm for mankind. That’s what I’m talking about! (Maybe 4/22 is Earf day.)

It's cold in my house right now.

But the AC is still getting maxed tonight.

These “conservation efforts” are thinly veiled attempts to get us to lower our standard of living; they are reminiscent of Imperial Germany’s “days of fasting” during WWI, which were an attempt to deal with their chronic food shortages.

I plan to let my Papillon catch a few squirrels and BBQ them on an open fire during Earth Hour.

OMG, it’s Erf Hour. OMG. OMG. OMG. Erf Hour. OMG.

All the lights will be on, will do laundry and dishes, TV’s all on, and plug in the electric guitar and electric mandolin and make heck of a racket. Oh, and the router, air compressor, and Christmas lights.

OMG, OMG, Erf hour.

Maybe light a fire in the firepit and sit around it with a couple of home brewskis, ya think?

People who don’t use a clothes lines for all or at least part of their laundry have no business preaching to others about energy use!

Wish I still had a 2 stroke motorcycle. It would be a blast to do a smokey wheelie past every darkened house.

My “give a da**” got busted a long time ago with respect to people who preach at me. (Particularly when they fly a single family on multiple, excessive vacations in several jets.)
