There was an amazing exchange today at the State Department press briefing when the press secretary refused to say that Jerusalem is the capital of the state of Israel. “We are not going to prejudge the outcome of those negotiations, including the final status of Jerusalem,” State Department spokes(wo)man Victoria Nuland said in response the question.

When pressed further, Nuland stood her ground. “Our policy with regard to Jerusalem is that it has to be solved through negotiations. That's all I have to say on this issue,” said Nuland.

Later, an apparently irritated spokes(wo)man again repeated her commitment not to answer the simple question. “I don't have anything further to what I've said 17 times on that subject,” said Nuland. “Okay?”

The questions were regarding this Washington Free Beacon story that highlighted the State Department's refusal to list Jerusalem as part of Israel. …

Has been since the day of James Baker. Both before and after 9/11.

It might as well have been named the “Saudi State Department”.

And then there’s Kissinger, Albright, Powell, Rice, etc. etc. etc.

It’s all coming down to Jerusalem, folks. As it has been prophesied (Zechariah 12, Luke 21:24) so shall it be. You can bank on it.

Become? The State Department has long been rife with commies. Now add islamists and other assorted Soros traitors to that mix.

"I don't have anything further to what I've said 17 times on that subject,” said Nuland. “Okay?”

"And that's all I've got to say about that", Forrest Gump

At least Gump is honest enough to know he's not bright.

The Department of State has not been housecleaned, much less reformed, since early in the twentieth century, a century ago. It shows. It stagnated during the Cold War, when rocking the boat appeared to be hazardous.

In the security reorganization following 9-11 Bush could have done something, but he just didn't see or understand the problem, and let a crisis go to waste.

“What a disgrace our state department has become.”

What a disgrace our state department has been for several generations.

“Arabists”, “commies” and queers have predominated at Foggy Bottom for generations.

Victoria Nuland, Susan Rice, Samantha Powers, and the Beast.

4 liberal 60's hags who run our foreign policy.

Can't WAIT to see them run out of town.

I think that I'm going to write the Israeli Kinneset and suggest to them that they will no longer recognize Washington, DC, as the capital of the USA. I will suggest Midway, MO, since it's pretty much in the center of the country, and the crime rate is way lower there.
