And yet he will stay in the race to ensure Romney the nomination. The Newt legacy. Disgusting.
Santorum 2012
Why don’t he just say it, I’m out of money.

Furthermore, the fact is the more than a million more people have voted against Mitt Romney than for him. We believe that if Governor Romney is unable to secure 1144 by the last primaries, he will be unable to do so at the convention where the vast majority of the delegates are conservative. That creates and environment at the convention where Gingrich can emerge as the one candidate who can unite social, economic and national security conservatives (a fact which is borne out by polling).

“Politico” agenda alert.
Why has this been reposted now so many times?
And what does the National Enquirer say?...
(Newtie would make the perfect srategerist and press secretary)
Keeping just enough staff to write his Romney endorsement.
Yeah, good luck with that, Newt.
Even if he walked away from a brokered convention as the nominee, I don’t know how optimistic I’d feel about Newt. If you’re less popular than Willard Romney the open socialist and Rick “I endorse Romney/Why would people vote for Romney over Obama/I’d be Romney’s VP” Santorum, that doesn’t speak a lot for your chances.
Look, I like what Newt says - check my post history if you don’t believe me - but we do have to worry about electability at some point.
Press Secretary? Absolutely. Strategerist? Not so much. The fabled "Southern Strategy" wasn't such a hot idea.
Why dont he just say it, Im out of money.

Newt was on O’Reilly tonight and said he’d use his own money if he had to, but, he’s not dropping out.
As I see It, Newt was thinking that there was more depth on the South. Instead, he found the one issue voters still haven’t learned a thing.
I like Newt but at least Perry knew when to call it quits.
Pray for America
“...Gingrich can emerge as the one candidate who can unite social, economic and national security conservatives (a fact which is borne out by polling).
Pure, unadulterated nonsense. This signals the end of the beginning for Gingrich. Polling at 5% in WI, it’s all over for him.
I simply do not see why people keep bringing up Chris Christie as an alternative.
Maybe Freddie Mac would throw some more his way.
And Pawlenty. And Bachmann. And Cain. And Huntsman. And Johnson.
If Newt continues on this path, he is going to be a very unpopular man after this is over.
Talk about a spoiler..
Yeah. It is always everyone's fault but Newts. It couldn't be that he ran a shabby campaign that didn't stay on message and blew threw cash like a teenager at the mall.
