President Barack Obama offered a private request Monday to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev for some “space” on missile defense ahead of November’s elections.
“On all these issues, particularly on missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space,” Obama said, referring to incoming Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to a TV pool reporter who heard audio recorded by a Russian reporter who was in the room moments before the two leaders spoke to reporters after their 90-minute meeting.
“Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you,” Medvedev responded.
A U.S. pool video camera in the room caught part of the audio, but not the piece about missile defense.

Maybe “space” is a code word for money.
This is but a sneak-preview of what will come once he's unshackled by the constraints of having to face the voters again. It's the equivalent of a 30-second movie trailer, giving away the "best parts" of the film.
I shudder to think we'll have to sit through the whole thing after the election. It will be an absolute horror show.

The Pentagon chief on Monday offered a litany of drastic steps triggered by the automatic, across-the-board cuts if Congress' supercommittee fails to come up with a $1.2 trillion deficit-cutting plan by Nov. 23. If the panel stumbles, the Pentagon faces some $500 billion in reductions in projected spending over 10 years — on top of the $450 billion already under way.

Yes, sadly, I think you might be right. He has many, many campaign workers researching the voter rolls and lists of the deceased to be sure that they get in a vote for every dead registered voter out there. Probably some bribes lined up for stuffing ballot boxes and/or finding whole boxes of ballots under the stairs in the church polling places, if need be.
Wasn't that November 23 LAST YEAR??? Only one problem with making that black versus white.
Boehner demanded these cuts and afterward said he got 95% of what he wanted when ramming this package through with no public review and little debate, much like Obama-care was passed. Ryan and Co stepped up and joined Pelosi in supporting this plan on TV very visually (not at the same time.)
So who is left? Now Republicans are attacking their own major acheivement?

If any Republican presidential candidate said something like that to a Russian leader, the Democrats would cry for the candidate's head on a platter for embarrassing the United States that way.
Let's face it. It looks more and more each day that Obama is way in over his head, so it is time to vote for someone else come election day Nov. 2012.
Enough is enough of the clumsy way Obama keeps handling domestic and foreign policy problems.
So who is more of a traitor? Barry Soetoro (aka Steve Dunham) or the Congress who refuses to impeach him?

You can bet there will far less outrage than there would have been if Kennedy had been overhead demanding Khruschev "give him space until after the elections".
Americans have lost their sense of self-preservation (along with their freedoms).
Obama has also fulfilled his promise to weaken morale with forced embracement of homosexuality and restrict rules of engagement so as to ruin our chances of victory.
Impeachment would only strengthen BO.
