Rick Santorum isn’t happy about the possibility of Matt Drudge being out to help Mitt Romney, and he’s being vocal about it. But at least one conservative who has been sympathetic to Santorum in the past is telling him to knock it off with indicting Drudge in this: Glenn Beck, who compared Drudge to William Randolph Hearst and insisted Santorum not fight with “a man who buys ink by the barrel.”

I haven’t visited Drudge’s web site in quite awhile now. I also have not tuned into Glenn’s program in quite some time. I am really disappointed in both of them.

I think Drudge passed that torch to Andrew Breitbart. Breitbart still has/had the spirit when he passed on.
Now Breitbart is gone and who do we have? It ain’t Drudge.
Matt sits where he has vision but has two good eye and he just does not see.

Beck is wrong. What does it matter if Rick calls out Drudge for his obvious bias? He can’t get any worse treatment at that site then he has already gotten. You would think Rick and Newt were Rats the way they get covered over there. Screw Matt Drudge.
I'm no fan of Beck anymore but I did notice when all the media, including Free Republic, retracted a story about Obama's daughter in Mexico, Beck's site was the only one of a few that were asking the question why and reporting on the media black out...... For all other news, I have to look to the foreign press for things happening in America that the MSM won't talk about.
Newt approaches it differently than Santorum. Santorum attacks media bias by constantly whining about it. Newt does it with passionate anger. Reagan and Nixon complained about media bias but they didn’t cry about it.
The truth is Matt Drudge and his BFF Matt Rhoades picked the fight with Gingrich and Santorum, not the other way around. It was all orchestrated by Drudge, Rhoades and the rest of the Romney communications team.
Drudge’s posting of dubious “exit polls” at 5pm to try to depress conservative turnout in the primaries is also shameful. Funny how Drudge/Rhoades didn’t post any of their “exit polls” yesterday since it would have be laughable beyond belief.
Drudge used to deplore the incest between the press and the politicians. Now he’s doing the same thing he used to decry.
Shame on Matt Drudge.

I think Santo should be encouraged by your side, to turn up the rhetoric and really try to anger Drudge even more. Santo would surely win a fight against someone as unpopular, hated and stupid as Drudge!

Drudge has lost almost 400,000 individual monthly visitors since Bloody Thursday back in January. And the decline is continuing.
Serves him right for Promoting Romney....I rarely go there now unless someone points to a specific article.
He's clearly using his site to promote Romney and barely gives any attention to the other candidates unless it's condescending....
Too many times he's purposely played his tricks so I won't go there now....besides there's others equally as informative if you go outside the USA even.
Amazing what we learn going outside the US for news. Even foreigners are no longer looking to our media as they once did...they know it's been bought and paid for.
Drudge pulled an Oprah and his audience numbers are suffering now. Losing 400,000 people in 2 months is pretty darn bad.
Yep...Glen Beck’s fast approaching that too. I stopped watching him awhile ago....he somehow got off his mark and hasn’t come back to where he’s really informing the people of what they need to know. Too much tabloid type articles.
