Islamic extremists are engaged in “ethnic cleansing” of Christians in the Syrian city of Homs, local sources tell the Fides news service.
Militants with links to Al Qaida have reportedly driven 90% of the Christians out of the city, going door-to-door to inform families that they must leave immediately.

Yes: Mission accomplished in Syria, and now he is working on Christians right here at home.
Don’t expect anything from our Christian congresscritters — they need the muslim vote.
The siege of Homs, much decried by our State Department, is, among other things, an effort to protect Christians (though mostly it's to protect Alawites).
Of course, just like in the Balkans and Chechenya, in fact, just like everywhere with the exception of Nagorno-Karabakh, the U.S. government, given the chance, will side with Muslims against Eastern Christians.

As in politics the people who get piled on are the one’s that message is true and scares the heck out everyone else. The message of The God of the Cross and the Resurrection scares the crap out of people so they choose to eliminate that which they dont understand.
I think the big question is will the Christians support Obama again, like they did in the last election.-tom
