In an interview with Marketplace.org (full audio), President Obama defends using U.S. taxpayer money to invest in solar energy projects. During the interview, Obama was asked about Solyndra, one of the more well-known solar panel companies that failed after receiving a loan guarantee from the Department of Energy.
However, Obama told Marketplace that "this was not our program." Obama attempts to make the case that this falls on the lap of Congress because they put together the loan guarantee program. Read the transcript below.
Marketplace's Kai Ryssdal : With all respect, it was kind of a gutsy move I think to come to a solar facility. Your administration has staked a lot on clean technology, green jobs. The biggest item most people know about that strategy is, of course, a company named Solyndra, which your administration gave loan guarantees to, that then went bankrupt and has been the subject of many investigations. Are you doing your "all of the above" strategy right if that's what we have to show for it -- Solyndra?

False. He is under no illusions, and believes no fantasies. The illusions and fantasies belong to you as you assume he is a patriotic American and for such an American to do what Obama is doing would require them to be under the influence of fantasy and illusion. He is planning on failure and the ensuing misery to enable a following power grab, or 'fundamental transformation' in his terms.

No, it's you who are not accepting the truth that no rational person could push these policies without knowing that they would fail. And since pushing for failure and following it with transformation is the Marxist process, it is the simplest answer to the conundrum of illusion and fantasy you think you see.

This is very, very true. Bit it contradicts your view of this being fantasy and illusion. If Obama believed the illusion and fantasy, he's not looking at a future of misery but one of rainbows and skittles and unicorns. It's that he does not believe the fantasy that shows him to be evil.
I agree with your comments. Cloward and Piven published their political Strategy of Orchestrated Crisis and Saul Alinsky believed in it too. The energy crisis is orchestrated. Global warming is orchestrated to give the governments involved the control over the means of production. The mortgage crisis was orchestrated. Operation FAST and Furious was an orchestrated crisis that got cut short of its goal.
How the heck does this guy justify this thinking to himself, much less others?
