As you all continue to kick Santorum down the road, you're only inviting more people to support Romney.

How's that working out for you?

most of the article doesn’t even talk about santorum. it’s talking about newt and is nothing but a bald face advocacy of gingrich. wow there is no conflict of journalistic interest there.

the only references to Newt were to refute lies Rick has told about him on the trail... A man has a right to defend himself. Santorum is an exceptionally good liar... and a lot of time, doesn't even seem to know he is doing it... You need to vet your candidate now, before it's too late. There is still time.

I think this person is a Mitt supporter. Newt is done, so the only reason to do this is to help Romney finish of Rick.

Don't take the obama tack by saying vetting a candidate is attacking him. You people need to vet your candidate while there's still time. Because if it doesn't get done before the general - Rick is out of luck, big time, and so are we. do your due dilligence before you support him, and if you find somethings out that make it impossible to support him, due to conscience or principle, then do the honorable thing.

VET YOUR CANDIDATE, AND WE WON'T HAVE TO DO IT FOR YOU...

OPEN YOUR EYES, AND WE WON'T HAVE TO OPEN THEM FOR YOU.

please!

We have!....and have patiently answered your questions over and over again!

...and we're tired of you and others like you continuing to pile up on Rick.

We will defend him 24/7.....

..obviously we will need to because of you & your gang of anti-Santorums

For mercy sakes, the ONLY person your anti-rhetoic helps is ROMNEY!

WAKE UP!

Eh. I slogged through that mess the best I could. Written like a 5th grade Civics paper.

The blogger didn’t persuade me at all. I could still flip a coin between Santorum and Gingrich. Gingrich still has the slight edge for me, but only because Cain and Perry are out. Santorum has his problems, and Gingrich has his Peolois and Scozofavas. Gingrich barely ahead by a nose.

This blog is just disjointed and whiny, like most blogs from that site.

And yes, please put this in Bloggers next time. Definintely not News.

The blogger didn’t persuade me at all.

AGAIN, as I said in my post, a great compilation of articles... that was why I posted it. It was a collection of links I haven't seen anywhere before... and many were very verifiable and trustworthy, others not so much - but then that's true everywhere...

Next time, maybe I will just post the links, but I feel a little uncomfortable doing that, since the resource work credit does belong to the blogger...

One more time - I didn't post because of the blogger or blog, but because of the links, and said so right up front...

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

“...and how has he afforded to live in a pricey D.C, suburb, instead of toiling ... in a steel mill in Pittsburgh, where he claims his roots lie.”

C’mon, everybody knows that’s all hyperbole and Santorum and wife are a husband-wife lawyer team, just like Bill and Hillary and Barack and Michelle. Or do they?

Pretty much a given that whoever gets elected, it will be because they are the more believable liar..

It's very hard to disagree with you... but I do a little. I don't think Newt is a liar.

I’d like to know how Mr Santorum has supported himself and his large family since his Senate re-election defeat, and how has he afforded to live in a pricey D.C, suburb, instead of toiling at a minimum wage in a steel mill in Pittsburgh, where he claims his roots lie. It’s an honest question, and why is it that his supporters are not asking it? We know Newt’s and Mitt’s sources of income, why don’t we know this steel mill town boy’s?

Well, here's a start, and not too pretty. I am sure more will be coming out. the entire article is worth a read..

Santorum-becomes-millionaire-in-six-years-after-losing-u-s-senate-seat.

excerpt:

"Since his 2006 re-election defeat, the former Pennsylvania lawmaker has gone from being one of the poorer members of the U.S. Senate to earning $1.3 million between January 2010 and August 2011. In 2007, he spent $2 million to buy a 5,000-square foot home in Great Falls, Virginia, according to property records.

Santorum’s financial rise was powered by consulting contracts with fuel producer Consol Energy Inc. (CNX), faith advocacy group Clapham Group and American Continental Group, a Washington consultancy, as well as media engagements. “If he’s claiming he’s not an insider, this is the thing that insiders do -- after public office they cash in,” said Kent Cooper, a campaign finance expert and former Federal Elections Commission assistant staff director."

Most here have taken down every single conservative candidate to the point where the last man standing is going to be the one nobody wants. Great strategery.

Exactly. And the Dems are going to use all that in their campaign ads.

What is not pretty about that? And, please, do a comparison between that and Newt, while you answering it. But, do it kindly, please.

From what appears at post #72, Newt has hardly been vetted on the totality of his record.

The dems would have a field day with that. It also explains his penchant for Climate Change folly. He always was for it, until now, before an election.

Ain’t too pretty. Oh my.

And the so called “undecided” idiots who are on the fence will see all this and just stick with obama.

I have never once said I supported Santorum, I have been on these trash little Ricky threads trying to get the Rabid Newt supporters to realize what they are doing with their endless insults.

Spend a little time exposing Obama’s record then you will have done something worthwhile.

Reality can suck, but Newt can not and will not be the Nominee, neither is Santorum likely. Newt should have realized that Ohio could have gone a long way toward neutralizing Romney, and choose to do what would help the Republic, but he chose to be the spoiler.

I doubt that any of them have even the vaguest idea of how serious this election is, many here don’t either.

Beating up Santorum, and for that matter beating up Romney in the long run is not a good strategy.

Newt should have run last time, maybe we would not be facing the total loss of the Republic, maybe not, but for sure it is gone already and must be restored and none of the candidates in my mind are up to the task.

It's down Romney or Santorum. If you don't realize that it is time to fit you for a straightjacket:

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0312/74282.html

Newt Gingrich campaign in the red

Forget a brokered Republican convention. Newt Gingrich’s presidential campaign is just plain broke.

Through February, the former House speaker carried more than $1.55 million in campaign debt versus $1.54 million in available cash, federal documents filed late tonight indicate.

Gingrich’s campaign spent more than it raised in February, $2.87 million to $2.62 million, federal filings show.

Its creditors, meanwhile, number in the dozens.

They include five- and six-figure amounts owed to event production, polling, advertising, bus charter and telemarketing firms as well as more modest sums due to grassroots consultants, photographers, sign makers and music suppliers, Gingrich’s February report shows.

Gingirch owes $15,000 to Twitter for an ad buy, $4,400 to the South Carolina Republican Party for lodging and $1,666 to former aide and current pro-Gingrich Winning Our Future super PAC official Rick Tyler, according to his debt roll.

He also owes the Mason City (Iowa) Police Department $666, the report says.

You might want to keep your personal attacks to yourself. It's not down to Romney or Santorum because Santorum can't win... deal with it.

Newt's campaign is in debt. Let's let him be the judge of when to get out for that reason. I don't think a person's principles have a price tag, and Newt is exactly what this country needs to pull it back from the brink...

That's all for now. I don't spend my time in discussion with Santorum supporters, too blind, too stubborn, too sanctimnonious. I hope you understand.
