Many people are looking for work, but for some it's even harder to get a job than most.
One local job fair helped those who have backgrounds that could lead an employer to turning them away.
Sigi Chabrier helps illegal immigrants find jobs.
"These people are here living in fear that they're going to get deported. They're gonna lose their home, their jobs or somehow not get the piece of the American dream that they come here for," said Chabrier.
He spoke out at the job resource fair, that was held at Our Community Place, to thank agencies for accepting them.

Juan Bautista, 25, a Guatemalan native who was living at 1614 Ute Ave. SE, appeared Monday in Municipal Court for a preliminary hearing. Felony charges of rape, gross sexual imposition and felonious assault were bound over to the grand jury by Judge C. Roland Centrone.
Bautista is being held at the Stark County Jail on $1 million bond.
The alleged sexual assault and stabbing occurred at the victims residence in the 1200 block of Arapahoe Avenue SE. The father, 24, reportedly was asleep on a couch when he was awakened by his daughters screams. When the father ran to another room and grabbed his daughter, Bautista allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the thigh, hand and ear. The father was treated at a local hospital and released.
Bautista apparently had been invited to the Arapahoe address and arrived while the girls father was sleeping. A second man who was visiting the house also witnessed the sexual assault, according to police. Bautista later was arrested at his residence.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency has placed a holder on Bautista, meaning he likely would face deportation if he were released from jail.
A Stark County grand jury will review the felony case involving an illegal immigrant accused of sexually assaulting a 2-year-old girl and repeatedly stabbing her father when he intervened.

Just came for the American dream...
And the hits just keep on coming. America’s days are numbered.
and that’s why we need a nice lil revolution which is looong overdue..
Now we have to feed and clothe this criminal trespasser for 15-20 years....
>> “These people are here living in fear that they’re going to get deported.”
Yes, all criminals live in fear of getting caught and punished.
>> “They’re gonna lose their home, their jobs or somehow not get the piece of the American dream that they come here for,”
My heart bleeds! Here’s a suggestion: enter by the *front door*, and you can vie for your piece of the American dream! If you’re not willing to do that, return to the cesspool called Mejico, where you learned to be a corrupt lawbreaker, and live out your days there; it’s more your style.
Why isn’t Sigi Chabrier indicted under RICO laws? Oh I forgot for a moment that illegal aliens have extra special rights over and above those of legal immigrants, and actual USA citizens
Title is redundant.
