Isn't this too sad. Now that Oprah has to play with her money instead of the King Brother's she has no stomach for lose lose proposition talk shows.
If the flag ship program of this network can't last 5 months, I give the network 24 months. TOPS
Oh and someone post the schadenfreude thing cause this story earned it in spades. Oh, and no pun intended if you want to say that's a racist reference to Oprah.

Rosie O’Donnell’s sell-by date expired years ago. She alienated millions with her leftist rants and obvious hatred for many of the things Americans still hold dear. Her in-your-face homosexuality was obnoxious and her arrogance and sense of entitlement, toxic. Good riddance. Now, if enly HBO would stop subsidizing the execrable Bill Maher, TV might have a chance to redeem itself...but don’t hold your breath.

It has been a mystery to me why she ever "graced" a television screen. When she tried being a stand-up comic she was not funny and was eventually relegated to being the MC of a Comedy Club show. She then had a secondary role as the tubby loudmouth on a WWII era women's baseball team (no acting required). After that, butt ugly and without any apparent talent, she became a celebrity and poster girl for bull dyke adoptive parenthood. It is like watching a satire about show business fame or Woody Allen's Zelig.

Sorry Oprah.
It won’t help.
Oprah blew it, selling out for Obama.

Rosie O'Donnell's failure as a TV host is pretty simply explained. She is not intelligent. She is not witty ("profane" is not "clever"). She is not physically attractive. She has nothing new to say. She makes people uncomfortable not because she's insightful but because she's so angry for no visible reason.
So why would anyone watch her?

...and would move Rosie into a significantly smaller 70-seat studio. The latter was a bid to inspire a sense of intimacy and lower costs...Yeah, it's tough to have a 'sense of intimacy' with all those empty seats...
