California Congressman Darrell Issa has evidently gotten his “second wind” and in a Thursday evening interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper regarding Operation Fast and Furious and a similar project in Texas, accused the Justice Department and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives of lying to Congress.
The interview came at the end of a lengthy report on illegal gun walking that appears to have been permitted under the Obama administration in 2009 and 2010 in more places than just Arizona. It may be seen here, and this is what Issa told Cooper:
‘We’ve been lied to by the Department of Justice; we’ve been lied to by some of the ATF.’
Issa, chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, began investigating Fast and Furious more than a year ago. During that time, he has chaired several hearings, dispatched investigators to Arizona, traveled to Mexico to discuss the scandal with officials in that country, and become a burr under the saddle of Attorney General Eric Holder.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I though Bonehead Boehner told Issa to layoff — no contempt citation’s for AG Holder or flunkies at DoJ. Boehner needs to be fired. (So does his buddy McConnell.)

What is the current status of the records subpoena? I haven’t heard anything since Issa “blinked”.
2nd wind? Nope. Just timing it right for the election and getting gun owners out to vote against Obama.
I think we are going to see such an outpouring of conservative gun owners in November that Obama will be relegated to “jimmy carter the 2nd” status permanently.

Issa wont do s#!^ zer0 knows if the pubs were not willing to go after his ineligibility, they’ll be too afraid to do anything. And he’s right. zer0 will keep the WH one way or the other, and nobody will do s#!^
This means absolutely nothing, unless Issa moves ahead with it in congress.
And, yes, I wasn’t in the back room with them, but there was certainly a story out there a while back that said Boner old Issa to lay off. And he did.
The problem, of course, is that if Boner demands impeachment or some other serious reponse in his committee, then it has to go to the whole House to be discussed and voted on, before anything happens. And Boner evidently doesn’t want to do that. In fact, if Boner is against it, Issa might not even be able to get the votes in his committee. Because although Boner refuses to punish anyone who helps the Democrats, he might very well punish anyone who tries to fight them.
So the next AG is gonna be a black lesbian?

Pick it, Obama should be impeached but the backroom decision is that Obama is not going to be a victim and attacked by those white RACIST Republicans. Instead, they are going to let the voters do it.
Clinton showed that a multiple rapists scumbag would not be impeached. Obama knows he can do anything, it’s up to the voters to stop the traitor in chief.
Not sure about race or gender, but the character and ideology gets closer to Heinrich Himmler with each administration.
I would certainly behoove us if the soap box/ballot box works this year, but the election of Bush in 2000 did not really hold Clinton accountable for his crimes.
Voting out Obama is only a VERY small step in the right direction for this country.
