Isn't it odd how many FReepers have gone mushy-headed for Rick. I know they have narrow minds because the best stuff Rick has said was already said by Newt. When Newt said it, he has a huge ego and cheated on his wife dontyaknow. When Rick repeats it, he's a freakin' conservative genius. When someone else points out a simple fact, they're stoooopid. God help us all.

They have gone mushy headed indeed. Or, perhaps, they already were which is why they have fallen for Santuckabee as a “true conservative” in the first place.

And they used Missouri as “proof” that RS was on a roll, and chalking it up as “a state win” when he won the teensie little events in Minnesota and Colorado and now, be damned, what we said about that election being a fake and a fraud was correct all along. Here comes Missouri again. And when I tease them about that, WHOOSH right over their precious little heads it goes....

Missouri's presidential preference primary, in which Santorum won every county in the entire state in the first election where he was able to go head-to-head with Romney since Gingrich wasn't on the ballot, doesn't actually select any delegates.

The delegates get selected by county caucuses and most, though apparently not all, are being held this Saturday.

Missouri's primary is being attacked as a “beauty pageant” primary which wastes money for no reason. That's an issue for the state government to decide. I can see arguments on both sides of the question; our Democratic governor wants a binding primary and strongly opposed eliminating our current primary system.

My county's local Republican officials had expected the race to be over by now and weren't concerned about the caucus, but now the county party has rented the second-largest off-post venue in the Fort Leonard Wood area since nobody has any idea how many people to expect will show up this Saturday.

Would love to go if I lived in one of the two states. I went to an event he did here but wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t stay to hear more than the beginning of his speech. :( I hope a lot of people attend.

Illinois? Illinois??? But wait, didn't the "Santorum can't beat Romney" people INSIST "Rick Santorum isn't on the ballot on at least 5 major states, including Illinois"? Wait, the Illinois State Board of Elections shows that Santorum is ON the ballot in every one of Illinois' 102 counties? Wait, Santorum is campaigning throughout Illinois and so are his delegates? So the anti-Santorum people flat out lied? Hmmm.

It was all about mojo in Missouri. Thank God for Missouri or we might not have Santorum for our next President. I would love for Newt to run for Governor of Georgia. I think he would win that election.
