One in a series of vanities about what Newt needs to do to help Rick

Conservatives had a good result tonight - I think they will get about 2/3 of the Alabama and Mississippi delegates. But it will soon be time for Newt to suspend his campaign and give Rick the momentum. I am giving Newt until 1 April to do this.

I am still calm, but I plan on having an anxiety attack prior to 3 April if Newt is still in it. The winner-take-all states that day require Newt to depart. This is the best way to block Mittens, but it still won't give Rick half...

But, and here is the kicker, I want Newt to UNSUSPEND his campaign sometime in June so that his bound delegates will not help Mittens get to the half he needs for the round 1 vote at the convention. In the ensuing chaos of the round two vote I want a deal to be struck between Newt and Rick. This is what is needed.

He needs to stay in to prevent Romney from reaching that magic number. The establishment must learn a lesson they will never forget. Then, just prior to the convention, join forces to force the establishment to get in line with the base.

I certainly don’t agree. As much as I dislike mitt, he is a far superior candidate to santorum. And if care about anything other than abortion, mitt would be a better president.

where is your /s your not serious are you?

If you are.. What makes you think Mitt is the best choice?

You're giving him until a certain date? Who died and put you in charge of his campaign?

Newt needs to stay in for the simple fact that he’s the better candidate, more conservative, a better debater, and simply more experienced and capable than Santorum is.

Frankly, I don’t care how many primaries Santorum has won - if he were truly interested in the good of the country as a whole, he’d bow out and toss his delegates to Newt.

It will never happen....Newt will not give up until it’s too late. By then the conservative vote will be split and Mitt will have the votes to take the Nomination....and Bingo we have Obama’s second term! Welcome to the Socialist Republic of the United States

why is anyone talking about having Newt get out? He is the one that has pushed the $2.50 gas and got the commie usurper to respond with algae. Newt is the one who is exposing the idiots obama and chu, and people want Newt to shut up?

YOU will give Newt until April 1! Who died and made you dictator?

If Newt drops out then Romney wins and Santorum gets to be VP. Both men are establishment Republicans and neither is fiscally conservative. The result?

Americans lose.

No way, Mitt is not better than Santorum. I’ll take a 70% conservative anyday over a 10-15 percenter that Romney surely is..

I agree. Santorum told Beck today that if Newt drops out now it gives Obama 8 mos. to beat up on one guy.

“YOU will give Newt until April 1! Who died and made you dictator?”

The action I will take on 1 April if my edict is not heeded is that I will have an anxiety attack - this is not a threat to anyone.

"where is your /s your not serious are you?"

Dead serious. mitt can at least balance a budget, talk coherently, deal with world leaders, lead an unruly congress and not go off to war half calked. santorum on the other hand has no real leadership experiance, his time in congress is a monument to establishment puppeterring. When he was let off the strings, his instinct was socialist. As was well demonstrated on the "Right to Work" legislation.

I have to admit, while I used to be like "Newt or Rick, either one, I'd be fine with either," the more I actually find out about the nuts and bolts of Santorum's record, the less I think I could support him, even if he were the nominee. He's still better than Romney, but not by much - he's just a big government RINO who happens to be pro-life.

I figured that. Just don’t get so drunk you accidentally kill yourself. We wouldn’t want you to miss all the fun to be had at the convention in Tampa.
