Santorum is Mittens tool to split the conservative vote. He is Running for VP.

Flame away but watch it happen in Tampa.

Vote Newt Kick all the GOP-E bums out on the streets.

>> Rick is “taking one for the team” by targeting Newt instead of Romney.

Rick has a big problem losing states to Newt given his call for Newt to stand down.

One thing I noticed in the Kansas Caucus vote on Saturday was that Romney was under 20 percent until the last votes came in, then he shot from 18 to 21 percent.

Under the rules, Romney would have been shut out of delegates unless he got above 20 percent statwide.

At 21 percent Romney, got himself some delegates to prevent a Santorum sweep.

Backing up on this election..Santorum got a free pass in Iowa, Fla., SC and several other early primary/caucus states. The MULTI million dollar smear ads were aimed squarely at Newt. He took tremendous hits that lied and distorted his record...Romney never made a retraction.

Several of the debates were rigged against Newt..especially the one that had the opening question on Newt's wife but he turned it around. In Fla...it was a weird and rigged primary and Santorum went home to be with his ill daughter and do his taxes and campaign. In all reality the vetting of Santorum took place very late in the game and many voters are unaware of his record..they look at his faith based campaign and view him as a moral man that would fight big govt

I believe that Newt had asked Santorum to stand aside before the Florida primary.

I don't know if this made it to your PPP thread, but here's more info from the PPP poll.

- - - - - -

"PPP reports on its latest poll of Republican voters in Mississippi:

In Mississippi Newt Gingrich is holding on to a slight lead with 33% to 31% for Mitt Romney, 27% for Rick Santorum, and 7% for Ron Paul... In Mississippi Gingrich's net favorability is +33 (62/29) to +32 for Santorum (60/28) and +10 for Romney (51/41)...

In Mississippi 44% of voters describe themselves as 'very conservative' and Romney's getting only 26% with them. But he's still in the mix because Gingrich leads Santorum only 35-32 with them..."

In Mississippi folks who've decided in the last few days go for Gingrich over Santorum 37-29 with Romney at only 15%. "

The Mississippi presidential primary will be held tomorrow, Tuesday March 13."

You'll notice that Newt's favorable/unfavorable numbers are better than Santos and Romney and notice the trend in bold. Newt's face-to-face campaigning makes a huge difference over the other two.

Believe these polls at your own peril. Willard the liberal will not win in Alabama or Miss. The voters there know he’s a flip-flopping liberal and a Morman on top of that.

Nothing like religious bigotry in full bloom. Pretty sad.

Liberals don’t go over well in the South, especially liberals that are members of anti-God cults and that is exactly what the Joe Smith congregation is. A cult by any definition of the word.

“Rick is “taking one for the team” by targeting Newt instead of Romney.”

Good description of Rick Santorum. Is there any spending bill he did not like? I can’t believe he claims to be the most conservative running. His record is just the opposite. And if he is really so conservative why is he not thumping the others in the 2 most conservative, reliable GOP states?

People, it is taime to wake up and smell the coffee. Vote for Newt, the most reliable budget balancer based on actual record. Newt is not afraid of taking on bold steps. Santorum’s actual record in congress is one of big spender.

I saw this last night. Something possibly may be brewing about Ricky that the Dems are threatening to share to the world as Santo emerges. You may want to give it a look see here. You never know...
