Obama's Israel Flip-Flops (video)

The Committee for Israel has produced a short video showing Obama flip-flopping on his statement the other day when he said he had Israel’s back, just like he did in 2008 on an undivided Jerusalem.

What amazes me is how Obama can say one thing one place, then take the opposite position within a day or so in front of another audience, and yet is never called on it at the time he does it by either side.

For example, at the AIPAC conference when he said he had Israel’s back he was cheered. Given the treatment he’s given Israel over the first three years of his Presidency, cheering him, like he’d seen the light or something, was absolutely ridiculous. Any thinking person should have been able to tell he was simply blowing smoke up their....

I don’t really know the solution to this, but I suspect the problem is that Conservatives are just too damned polite. What our President needs to hear more of is outright booing and catcalls when he pulls something like he did at AIPAC, not applause and cheering.

He’ll do the same on gas prices, already has in fact. His administration is directly responsible for rising gas prices, yet he dissembles at a press conference with (paraphrasing) “What President wants gas prices rising going into an election year?”...You silly questioner...was the unsaid comment.

Well, if he dares make that same statement to the public, instead of that bunch of sycophants we call the White House Press Corps, a few conservatives need to drop their respect for the Presidency and boo the hell out of him, along with a few shouts like “You do sir, you do, and you’ve said it publicly in the past.”

President Obama is truly the Emperor who wears no clothes. All it will take is for a child of a Conservative to call him on it in the right environment, and others will realize the child is right. But someone’s got to do it. Otherwise the media gets to show him idolized yet one more time, and by the very people he’s getting ready to backstab at the next appearance. It’s nuts.
