The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-four percent (44%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19 (see trends).

Nationally, Romney now leads Rick Santorum by 12 points. Regardless of who they want to win, 80% of Republican Primary Voters nationwide believe Romney will be the party's nominee.

With the perception growing that he will be the GOP nominee, Romney leads President Obama by five points in a hypothetical 2012 matchup. Today's numbers show Romney at 48%, Obama at 43%. That’s Romney’s largest lead since December. Matchup results are updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update).

Gloria Allred is scrambling to find a woman to hold a press conference with against Romney a week before the November election.

These so called “ABO” people are Romney trolls working to tamp enthusiasm for the real conservative in the race.

That’s called Drudge pro-Meh propaganda.

Right before Alabama and Miss. they come out with these “shocking” reports, plastered on Drudge and then onto FR.

Maybe we’re just people who dislike the entire field as it stands, but we hate Obama much much more...

And some Democrat voters might think “Romney’s policies and positions are the same as Obama’s” so why not just vote for Romney?.. If nothing else, it’s bye bye to the race card in the White House’ cr*p.

If this poll is for real then America is on heavy prescription drugs and or dumb as a turnip or both.
First they elect Obama and then their answer to combat Obama is Obama-lite?
What time does train going to the Land Of Make Believe depart?

Maybe... so we should just boost the progressive-liberal in the republican primary, right before important primaries in Alabama and Miss.

I’m not boosting anybody, but I do believe Newt would have a far harder time beating 0 than Romney or Santorum.

General election match up polls are not worth much of anything at this point.

“Yeah, I remember the polls showing McCain was the only candidate who could win as well......

Pure BS.”

It is the exact same set up, except that before he was broken, McCain had actually been a good man, and unlike Bishop Willard had served his country.

These hypothetical head-to-head matches are so absurdly meaningless when we’re still 8 months out from the election and no candidate has faced the Obama machine yet

Can't you just see the comeback kid about October. Big Ears will be up by 5 - my guess.

Just like the polls were staged to provide for the riots in Kenya, and just like the polls were staged to fabricate a “grass-roots movement” to get campaign funding stifled here, the polls can be manipulated for any purpose. It’s clear that the powers-that-be all want Romney, and that the only reason the “little people” are voting for him is because they think he is “electable” - because of these stupid polls, which can be manipulated like child’s play.

Mitt Romney is CURRENTLY trying to force Catholic hospitals in MA to commit abortions, which they believe to be murder. He argues that it is fine because it is the STATE government that is violating religious freedom rather than the federal government doing it.

If we would choose as our candidate somebody who argues the groundwork to allow STATES to institute sharia, we are absolutely NUTS!! Just think of Michigan. This plays right into the Islamist playbook, since their method is to get sharia into pockets based upon there being a majority Muslim population in that pocket. And then they use that as a legal precedent to get sharia everywhere.

Whether Romney is a tool, evil, or just stupid, it would be downright DANGEROUS for this country to elect him. If he is the R nominee we will have the choice in November between a Muslim-in-chief who told the Egyptian ambassador that he was and still is a Muslim who supports the Muslim agenda.... and a moron who thinks sharia is fine as long as it’s instituted state by state rather than federally.

People, people, people! We NEED to see that the enemy is within a hand’s grasp of taking this country for the Islamic caliphate. The communist-Islamist economic powers-that-be (which I believe made the run on the bank in Sept 2008 to get Obama elected) - which also own the media and the democratic party (as Soros has said openly) - is twisting all this around so we will have no Winston Churchill still standing when the Neville Chamberlains have ceded this land to the enemy that has us surrounded.

It does us no good to nominate Neville Chamberlain just because we believe he could be “electable”. Sure, he might be a SLOWER death than electing Obama, but that just means the gangrene will be even more firmly entrenched (and the frog more easily boiled with gradual increases in the “temperature” we adjust to) in case somebody eventually gets the balls to actually FIGHT for everything we love.

Polls are a psych tool of a liberal campaign. Romney and the liberals use it to shape opinions and tamp down interest and enthusiasm for a specific candidate. They do post the truth now and then, otherwise the tool becomes ineffective as it loses credibility.

On the contrary, it is hello historical Mormon bigotry in all its white and delightsome glory.

Romney is much more appealing than McStain. It does suck that the media selects the Republican candidate. The left owns the media, THAT’S the problem!

OMG! Here’s a headline championing the idea that Romney is the go to guy if we want to beat Obama, and we’re all clapping.

Folks! Wake the hell up!

At this point, I don’t care if Romney can beat Obama 99 to 1%.

He’s not our guy. I know Santorum is the great Satan on the forum right now, but Romney is the enemy. Anyone remember?

So basically you are not "ABO" but a Romney person who is hiding behind Santorum.

Romney is not going to beat BO because all the liberals and moderates would vote for O, and a lot of the conservatives will not vote for Romney because he is a liberal with the same policies and anti-liberties stance as BO.
