Kurt Haskell, Newport attorney announced he is seeking the Democratic nomination for the 7th District congressional seat currently held by Rep. Tim Waberg according to the Adrian Daily Telegram.
Haskell has recently begun to collect signatures for petition to receive the nomination. He told the Adrian Daily Telegram he expects to have enough signatures by next Wednesday.

There's a lot more he says if you look it up. Now I have no idea if Haskell was truthful, conjecturing, or lying with this case. I have no idea, although I doubt he was being deceitful being an attorney. In addition, the federal government and law enforcement (like the BATF) doesn't have the most honest record in high profile criminal justice matters.
I don't see where running against Tim Walberg would effect things there. It could however give the Obama injustice department some heartburn, and that's from one of his own party members.
unfortunately, our district is largely ignored by rnc. tim should handily win but he gets significantly less support than his dem challengers.
