Mindless rhetoric is rarely the appropriate answer to mindless rhetoric.

I would say your case is the stronger of the two, constitutionally. But what do I know.

That sounds like a deal to me. I’m pretty sure I can shoot more often than she can screw.

Which one is protected by the Constitution?

How about if they just pay for you to shoot blanks?

I’m not aware that either publicly funded contraception or ammo funded by same are addressed, let alone protected by the constitution. Let’s dispense with the notion that we’re discussing anything remotely constitutional here.

Oh now this should be good. Please elaborate on how there is any case at all, constitutionally speaking for either. However, I would not not waste too much time on the endeavor, because I am warning you up front that there is no constitutional merit for either one.

Only that it may be necessary for self defense and my comment was not meant to be taken seriously.

Concur--so at what point are we going to step up and curb-stomp the MSM and government busybodies who think that religious institutions--hell, ANYONE--should be forced to mandate what is in effect a "maintenance" type of drug? Is the government going to tell Progressive Insurance that they now need to pay for a customer's oil changes or new tires?

We've expected too much from our healthcare system. It was initially designed for catastrophic coverage, not every little ache and sniffle. I'm already paying for other people's lack of planning, diet, smoking, etc., by their being added to the risk pool. Now I'm providing for their WANTS as well?

The irony here is that insurance companies themselves are very much in favor for paying for contraceptives. It is those who purchase those policies on the behalf of employees who are not always big on the idea.

From the perspective of the insurance company, birth control is incredibly cheap, and cuts down on the number of large payouts to OB/GYN’s and hospitals that are subsequent and consequential to pregnancy.
