Police are investigating hate crimes at Western Connecticut State University.

A student discovered a gay slur written on a dry erase board outside her dorm room inside Litchfield Hall Feb. 27. She did not report the incident right away.

The resident director was notified of the slur and contacted police March 2, according to authorities.

On March 3, the student reported another gay slur written on a paper attached to her dorm room in Litchfield Hall.

"Such acts are not tolerated at Western," Paul Steinmentz, a university spokesperson, said. "Our police department is investigating, and if the perpetrator is caught, that person will face criminal charged and administrative punishment.

Members of WCSU's Office of Student Life will be meeting with students to answer questions about the incidents, according to Steinmentz.

We do need a law to protect men who use physical force against homos in response to homosexual harassment - verbal or physical. Heterosexual men and boys should not have to risk their liberty to stand up to sexually aggressive, mentally unstable people. I also don’t see anything wrong with fathers or mothers taking out homosexual abusers of their young sons if authority figures fail to protect the children - like at Penn State.

As long as normal people are not denied their rights to live free of forced homosexual associations, homosexual harrassment in public institutions and their jobs (same as women) and denied the freedom of self defense should they be sexually attacked, this would go a long way in helping the homos to halt the effort to break taboos and disrespectfully cross lines that should not be crossed in public interaction.
